:crying:Nothing lasts forever. After 15 years of loyal service, my last piece of Isometric 800 broke when the shop restrung it.

I hope we still have members here that remembers this racket and can help me suggest a similar racket or the spec (sorry beside that I think it is heavy head I am not sure to know whether it is stiff or no) or place the racket in the Yonex matrix : http://www.yonex.com/products/badminton-racquet-matrix/

I've purchased a Nanoray 700RP in 2012 to see if another style of racket would fit me and it was a disaster. Hated it, couldn't develop power with it.
My friend borrowed me his Nanoray Z speed and I quite liked it. But I am really missing my Iso 800 badly and hope I can find the best replacement! possible with the new technologies available?

    Thanks for your help!!

    Olivier.

The Iso 800 was stiff + head heavy. Voltric 80 should be the closest to it in terms of spec. Another option might be the Voltric Z-Force II, but I'd take a look at the Voltric 80 first.

I used to use a Isometric tour 800 and I still have it but since it's pretty old and beaten up, I don't use it anymore.

My current main racket is Voltric 80 4u and I love it.

Guys thanks a lot for your reply.
I went to check the VT80 and it was on sales 50% off! I guess it is my destiny to play with this one.

RIP to my ISO 800 and welcome to the VT80 new era :)

By the way, it is a VT80 E-tune. Is it the same as a VT80 plus the E-tune weight?

No, it is not. The VT80ET is different from the original VT80 and is discussed very controversially => http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/150259-Yonex-Voltric-80-E-Tune

It is said to be slower and with the ET-stuff attached even more head heavy than the original VT80.

I have a VT80 (without E-tune) in 4UG5 and I am currently thinking about selling it. Far too head heavy to be used as a spare for the JS10 which is my go-to racket. In case you might be interested in buying a used one and if your location is still at least partly "France", then send me a PM. :)

Actually after few games, I like the Z-speed better. I think the VT80 E-tune is heavier (even without the pads) than the VT80.
I will try the VT80 next week to see how it feels.
But thanks for your help !
