Fortunately the area of pain you indicated on the picture is not in any crucial area. It does seem like you need to get your technique sorted out by a coach to prevent this from reoccurring.

If you slide that arrow up a bit, that's where my pain is, and happens in similar arm position (if I understand correctly):

see a sports physio for exercises to help this. And see a sports physio in any case - I have found them to help much more than doctors.

For me the pain doesn't happen when my arm is in that position. I can only feel the pain when i have my arm bent inwards towards my body (also, the pain is near the bicep, not the shoulder)

Damn, I have pain at the exact same location, I see inflamed red veins on my biceps forward/front side right above/upward of my elbow. If I don't smash, I am fine. Wonder if there are any specific stretches and tips.
Well, I do have forearm and wrist pain similar related to RSI due to sitting at computer for hours daily.

Haha ... I thought I was indestructible, too, when I was 24. At 28 I was put out for 6 months by a patella tendon injury and at 30 I was put out for 6 months by a stress fracture in the fibula. After that I learned to listen to my body a bit better ;)
