Unfortunately I will only be able to try out the Blend 7000 sometime next week but there is already plenty to talk about. I will give input on how I feel about the design and looks of the racket first.

Disclaimer: I have not played with the Duora either but I will be comparing the Blend to the Duora as everyone is already familiar with it.

    First impressions
The Blend 7000 feels like one of the older school rackets. I stroked a couple of times with a friend at home and it feels solid. It weighs similar to a 3U racket but it feels more solid. It reminds me of the older carbonex rackets. Newer rackets tend to feel hollow... this one feels like the older rackets where you know you are holding onto something solid.

    Looks
This is where the Duora has a significant advantage. The Blend 7000 is a gorgeous racket in very unique colours. The paintjob looks great and has some quality to it. But where it falls short is how the Duora easily lets you know which side you are holding on. The Blend does not. If you do not know what to look out for, you will not know which side you are holding on.

This is the view of the racket with alternating facing sides... Too hard to tell which is which.

Once you get a close up look, you will be able to see the differences in the frame. The boxy frame only has blue at the bottom and is not visible where as the speed frame shows blue due to the angle at the bottom.

So how do you know which side is which when you are playing? The best way I've come up with is to look at the decals at the handle. If you see the superbrands logo... it means you are holding it with the boxframe for the forehand... the way it is designed. If you see the flag... then you are holding it the wrong way round.

I've dry swung the racket a few times and I can't tell the difference between the two... I'm so excited to see how this plays... I probably won't be able to tell the difference but it will be interesting :D

Honestly what is the racket giving you with the split personality? Is it a single only racket? How many top ranked BWF Yonex sponsored players use Duora for Doubles? I am primarily playing doubles, like control, precision, power and quick defense. I found AVP and it is good enough for now.

    thank you.

I dont have a L90 but from the photos I found it is quite similar to AVP with the ridge shape frame design.

Try AV pro (blue) the first generation if you can still find it, I believe it has a sword frame with stiff shaft.

    Hi All,
I just bought Lethal 11 and Z-Ziggler. it is ready good price for a beginner like me.
I happy with Lethal 11. Z-Ziggler are too heavy for me.

Z-Ziegler is a VTFZ2 clone, compact frame not suitable for beginner. But smashing is stronger than the L11

Guys try out the apacs sensuous 686 !
    One amazing racket.
    Sooper control and offense
Costs around 10 times cheaper than the Voltric z force 2 but it is as deadly as the voltric .
In India it costed me around 2200 INR with BG 65 strings.

Soopet Thin shaft and a flexible racket....so it kinda has a sling shot effect.

    Hi everyone....:)

Does Apacs has their own tension chart/graph? If one is using 27 lbs for its Yonex. Should it be the same for Apacs? I'm thinkin of tryin out Apacs out of curiosity. Appreciate some advice beforehand. Thank you Masters of Badminton.

AV Pro, you read the word. Stiff and fast, not newbie friendly.

Apacs rackets min is 30lbs and max. 38lbs. Tension is the same to whatever brand of you you use. Why do you think it is different?
