Do you have more details, like what item am I looking for? I've never seen anything like that before.

They work with all grommets; they come with different pins for different holes (including shared holes).

Ahh it's like parts for a Dremel tool, what kind of holder are you using? Is that found at Home Depot also?

inspired by this thread, i started using a small picture hook like these. Seems to be working pretty well so far. I found some at home, they work but perhaps will be better if the thread is even smaller. I will have to drop by the hardware store to find them. Also the amount of leverage isn't that much so perhaps some improvement there can be made.

That's a very good idea. I just came back from the hardware store with some screws because I lost the one I was using for removing grommets, but this is a much better idea. I wish you had posted this half an hour ago. Haha.

This gave me an idea... You could use that as a base and then make some kind of handle for it using Sugru (https://sugru.com/) - mouldable glue/blu-tak type stuff that sets solid.

I found these which are perfect for pulling grommet. Now I just need to find a handle for it.

    it worked perfectly.

it requires 2 to 3 twists in order to secure it for most grommets. so far i haven't had one that doesn't work.

the little eyelet doesn't provide much leverage when pulling out the grommet though, esp with the flared grommets. so i soldered the eyelet between 2 coins and that works out much better.
