I think a while ago a thread like this popped up after an international team event. (Maybe the sudirman cup?) Where a bunch of players on the japanese team were wearing yellow shoes. Turned out they were a limited edition version of the shb 102. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
Do me a favor; don't comment if you dont have that clear of an idea. Bit harsh, but seriously. It's not LIMITED per se, it's EXCLUSIVE. Yellow shoes are the custom colorway for Japanese TONAMI players. In the same way how Japanese players under UNiSYS wears Mizuno. Sonoda and Kamura are on the old(er) SHB65FT in full yellow. Some others wear 65X, etc. Sonoda: Kamura: SHB65FT (the better, JP variant of SHB86EX) You're right about SHB102, Sho Sasaki is currently STILL on them, and on the MID CUT JP version, SHB102MD. SHB102MD: There.
Thanks for the clarification. It was a long time ago that I read it, I assumed not many people would have remembered it being a thing. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
No issues mate. Bonus picture: (You there! Yellow shoe for you! You too! Everyone gets a yellow shoeeee!) After training apparently. Couple of 65X, 65FT, and... don't know what else... *Well yeah.... you got a badminton team too.....*
lolz, if you watch national Japanese league, you would see majority of them wearing these shoes. Its been years. as someone said above. Its a custom exclusively for domestic team. Havent seen anyone on this forum has it and its been so long so most likely you wont be able to get one. Get some yonex lindan shoes then, quite close match
What the... It's just a picture of their shoes. You talk like you still fail to comprehend the situation.
Could not stop myself but to mini researched the cultural meaning of yellow in Japan: In Japan during the War of Dynasty in 1357, each warrior wore a yellow chrysanthemum as a pledge of courage.
