Will TTY make her 3rd win record over LXR tonight?

Li Xuerui's turn to disappoint with many uncharacteristic errors, and most likely leaving Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian to fight it out between them, assuming Sun Yu is out of the way too.

Yeah thanks. Sorry for being of topic again. Adam Cheng is also my favorite actor too. I remembered he once acted in a TVB drama together with Ekin Cheng Yi Kin. Till today I am still searching for that TVB drama so that I can download them to watch them. Meanwhile now I am working hard to finish downloading all the TVB dramas acted by Deric Wan first. I have been downloading Deric Wan TVB dramas for quite a few years already. Very successful. Now left with 10 more TVB dramas acted by Deric Wan to download.

Amazing performance by Tai Tzu Ying after a very sluggish performance last round !! So many crazy shots/ Demonstrated again her superb technical skills despite being error-prone, suprised Li Xuerui many times at the net/ Really the most deceptive player on the Women's tour, never show how she's gonna play! One of the rare player who can dominate Li Xuerui! Congrats :)

Now can Kirsty Gilmor win over Nozomi Okuhara? Very unlikely I guess.

Not a good tournament for home nation, all the strong established doubles pair has lost already.

Adam Cheng's portrayal of Ah Q-type character is the best.

Well, two other Denmark pairs have done well by beating the seeded players. Certainly it will be very difficult for Denmark coaches to decide which pair will be sent to the Olympics. Meanwhile Boe/Mogensen is still not in their top form.

In other words, LXR's early exit helps to create a situation where it's left to WYH and WSX in opposite halves of the draw to see who deserves one of the two CHN WS ticket to Rio. Of course, there's also next week's AUS Open. Hopefully, that would make LYB's task easier as far as CHN WS Olympic selection is concerned.

Btw,the way LXR played and lost to Tai TY today is strange and telling , so many uncharacteristic errors, time and again she obviously saw the shots coming, esp at the net but chose to let it go as if caught by surprise or stranded - it is so unlike her.

In other words, they have played 14 times since 2011 including this match, and are obviously quite familiar with each other's game, deceptiveness not an issue; the overall H2H is 11-3, still largely in favour of LXR. I mean, TTY has always played like that, nothing new, for her to dominate LXR is out of the question.

Haha Justin, such an expected answer. So devoid of any objectivity anytime a chinese player is involved -and loses- (as outlines time and time and time again by other posters on this forum). Whenever a chinese player loses, it's always -in your mouth- a variation of "she/ he made too many errors" or "he/ she was so tired", it's strangely always about them losing their match rather than the other players winning. More surprising, or odd, is that you don't even seem to realize your own bias.

Btw Tai Tzu Ying WON her match against LXR today, + she has obviously improved her skills and evolved her game over the years (and notably cut down on the errors) ,and yes LXR was genuinely caught by surprise many times in this match, and finally yes TTY has shown in their recent encounters that she was able to dominate her as her 3 win over their 4 last encounters shows ;)
