I have an arcsaber 10 2012 premium made on 11 jan 13. Is the premium 2012 rackets only made in 2012? If it is then mine would be a fake?
It could be made in 2013. Cause production can be start from 2012 ~ early 2013. but the hologram sticker is diff from mine.

i asked about my racquet few years ago and got 3 different answers, that's why i just asked this again. 1. FAKE boss..YonexNanospeed 8000, the serial is too low for 2009 2. NS8000 should be genuine. Quite a few already with the strange serial number starting with 239.... for 27109xXX all bought at Yonex dealer 3.The cone code means 27/10/2009 and 5 is just a random number. I think the code is good. If i see the serial, it could be a fake one. But i'm not sure, i'm not a pro for that. But my racquet is still good like a new one, eventhought it's already 6 years old since i had play with it. I just changed the racquet string once.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already here before but i may have a good idea for YONEX on how to possibly create a system where customers can be ensured that they are getting the genuine products from yonex especially badminton rackets. Given the sophistication that counterfeiters have achieved in recent times in almost perfecting the art of duplicating genuine rackets down to the smallest cosmetic details, perhaps something a bit more must be done by YONEX for consumers to get more protection from such nefarious practice. I for one have been duped and I can imagine how many more like me have been upset for being conned into buying a fake product. Here's one idea that I thought could possibly work and the overall concept sounds quite simple: When a customer buys a racket, he/she should get a unique authentication code that is attached as a tag to the item ( somewhat similar to what Li-Ning is currently doing ). Before he/she pays for it however, this tag must be revealed by the seller and must be REGISTERED and verified ( not just verified) at YONEX's site. Now if the item is genuine and have a genuine code, his/her code should be officially confirmed at the site, and then the customer can pay for it. This code can only be registered once, so that it's exclusively assigned to the original racket owner, and can't be duplicated. If anyone else tries to duplicate this code like in the case of counterfeiters, they will be denied confirmation and thus, would be buyer of said counterfeit item with duplicated code would know that he/she is buying a fake one. The problem with the Li-Ning authentication code is that it's only a verification system that doesn't restrict the number of usage of it therefore very easy to simply duplicate, used for fake rackets and distribute. Registration can be as simple as entering the code on the site, no need for any personal informations. I believe this would help YONEX and its consumers to have a more foolproof ( though may not be absolute ) way of avoiding fake items being rampantly sold in the market.
