As far as I'm concerned there is absolutely nothing wrong with mine. But I should stress that these are pre-retail samples, and may not have been from an affected batch.
Didn't it used to be on their website? Because I don't see it on there now. Edit: just saw a screenshot of their webpage in the onigiri thread, and it definitely used to be on there and isn't on there now. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
OK, here is the official word on TK9900... There is a batch arriving in Europe in September which has already been sold. After that, there will be no more TK9900's. Victor is definitely NOT making them. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Wow - mine just shot up in value... Should have kept the plastic on one of em. Now that we've got a definite answer, are they going to tell us why it's folded (again)?
Either way if you guys do get them and Asia doesn't. I'll be pouring resources into getting one of these from EU. Unless the 800P is nothing short of stellar.
I am going to assume what was wrong with the racket for the recall that they couldn't fix it or they could fix it but might change the dimension or the characteristic of the racket performance and they feel it wouldn't do justice to the racket or their company name. Who knows what the deal was but certainly it was one of the racket I was waiting for. Oh well I found my replacement racket in my VF Tour.
The upgrade order has been screwed up by this, too - new Jetspeed, new Hyper, then new Thruster. I think the Thrusters themselves might be binned ater this, replaced by the new HH line. It's about that time; the TKs are the oldest series left. I just hope they come up with something better than "Hypernano" for the name. Something "attack-y" and/or "power-y"... just not "Powerattack", for the love of god.
Very sad news. My guess is that Victor works actually for a new replacement line of the Thrusters. The TK line is the oldest and will be replaced next. After the delay of 1,3 years it is normal to let a product die before it's getting old, because the market will change quickly. I expect a new Power line in fall 2016/2017.
Why I didn't find a thread about the TK770HT. 3U: up to 33lbs and 4U up to 32lbs, sound great for a midend. @Ch1k0 For a proto the paintjob is too glossy and finished. I doubt it is a Victor. The Paintjob looks to Wilson-ish.
Possibly but she used to be on a ZF before she started playing the senior circuit. So I'd assume she may be under victor as part of BAM now.
No way! It's been canned?? I've been waiting a year for it to arrive... sigh... On the other hand, the HX800-P is playing pretty well. Sharp, fast and a stinger.
I've no idea what this other racket is. It is definitely a Victor racket as she falls under BAM. Hypernano 800 Power is a very good racket. I've had limited time with it but I reckon the entire series is finally coming good. I like the original 800 but power is a more solid feel. I can see it being very popular.I haven't tested control but may get the opportunity very soon. There are no rumblings of Victor changing the Thruster series. TK9000 has been extremely popular so I cannot see the series being withdrawn off the back of TK9900. I do expect a bit more caution before releasing a replacement so it may be a while before they launch another top-end Thruster. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
This was the only racquet I was interested in atm. With nothing to temp me away from my current MX-60, MX-JJS, TK9900, it just means I will get more value from my money's worth out of those racquets Still, it's always a shame when someone takes your toys away Edit I meant tk9000
