I've been doing badminton training with the N90 III. For about a month now. But shots still seem weaker. I guess going to the gym is really what i need to do.

Hmmm yeah....if you played wildly different specs before, it's possible that some strength training will help speed up the transition. From an objective stand point, maybe you shouldve done that before - if youre actually too weak to properly swing the N90iii, youre definitely lacking in the pysical department, but if youre just slow to adapt or if its just not for you, hitting the gym might not help much.
As I said, taking care of your rotator cuff and pushups/pull ups with a proper range of motion (chest to floor/chin over the bar) are enough for most levels of badminton.
Bodybuilding type isolation exercises will have little effect, unless youre starting at a very low level of physical conditioning.

I actually have that racket. Its really light and less or the same stiffness as my N90 III. Just a feeling. I currently prefer this racket than my N90 iii. Since its lighter and has a bp of 295. Therefore less demanding to use compared to the n90 iii.

    Well that is my impression.

Have you used yonex nanoray or voltric or arcsaber before? How is it compared to those racquets?

Hello, I am looking at getting my first Li-Ning racket because my friend was thinking of buying me one for my birthday. He asked me which one I wanted and I had no idea, and this place looks like a good place to ask.

I'm most comfortable with balanced rackets, head heavy stuff like the Yonex voltric series do not suit my playstyle. I mostly focus on singles, and my playstyle is to control the game with drops, clears, and drives. When I play doubles, I try to stay at the front, but I wouldn't mind a racket that packs a bit of a punch at the back too.

I currently use a Victor Bravesword 12, and I feel like the weight and flexibility is okay for me. I'm willing to experiment as well. I'm also a huge fan of Chinese singles players, so if the racket is used by players like THW, CL, LD, WZM, etc, then that might also play a role in deciding my racket. Thank you for any replies, I hope I enjoy my first Li-ning!

Try the N50iii. While LN has nothing quite as head light as the Bs12 in their lineup, thatvone could suit you well. If you want something stiffer than that, maybe try the N80/N80ii, but those are a bit head heavier (still balanced).

If you find the N50III too flexible, give the N99 a try.

You can also try the N90-III. Less demanding than the n90 and n90-II
But still a very good racket in my opinion

But very different from the Bs12, even the N50iii will be heavier than that

True, the N90III will feel like a sledgehammer when you're coming from a BS12. :D

Well thats up to him. For me i think it suits his playstyle. Given that he would adjust the weight and stiffness. And it would give more power. Bc imo the n90-iii thrives at fast paced games. While it is heavy and aerodynamic at the same time.

From the description, I doubt that he'd like it. The N90iii is somewhat similar to the VT70, which he doesnt like, and coming off a Bs12 will not be easy to use in front court doubles play. The N50iii or N80 are much more suited to that.
In addition, it seemed to me that he places a lot of emphasis on drives, which is where the N90iii didnt really perform well for me.

Well thats a Li-Ning master for you. Haha. Great insight. Well im currently doing some weight training to be able to properly wield the N90-III. Coming from a low end li ning racket. The N-series is really a whole new level haha

Thanks for all the opinions guys, it's gonna be hard to get my hands on a N80 here so I'll probably try to get an N50iii. By the way, it's the same price as the N7 and N9, how are those?
