Hi im a new member of this forum but i go here alot to learn things about badminton. I registered so i can ask if my ZFII is authentic or fake because it's Serial/Cone number says it was manufactured 4th or September 2005 (040958SP). That's right! 2005! How is that possible if the racket was introduced in Spring of 2014. I payed around $250 for this racket tho so i don't really know if its fake or not at it is strung at 30lbs. Please help. Thank you. PS. This is my first time to buy High-End badminton racket and i noticed that the design in the head is like a sticker not painted (The black, gold and brown lines) unlike low-end rackets which is painted. It also comes with the Lin Dan bag but it says the bag was made in taiwan.

Check the cone. Compare it with the pictures of LCW's Duora 10 (repaint of voltric zf) in the YONEX DUORA 10 thread. The 4 corners of the cone have 2 stripes each. I've checked my voltric zf & 80e-tune. Each corner of the cone has 2 stripes, with different length.

mine has stripes also but its in the same length. please check in the photos i uploaded above so you can verify if mine is legit.
Sorry to say it but it's fake. The piece that is between the cone and grip should be a sticker and not a thick rubber piece. Also the yonex symbol and the word yonex on the cones does not look straight
I got it for about $300USD when the ZF2LD JP yellow first came out. Its hard to find the ZF2LD JP versions of all 3 colours now because Yonex only made limited quantities in Japan.
I think it is fake. But you can check for the frames' decal. If its more like a sticker its probably legit.
$65 USD for 3? You don't even need to ask. A used ZF2 costs $150~ USD, why would someone sell you 3x brand new special edition colours for that price?
