    Will it be held on 26 July 2016? Will it be done by a BWF program? Or will it be done manually with live youtube broadcast?

    @AlanY

    Is It confirmed that Lin Dan and Axelsen will be separated?

    Also,the number 5 seed Jan O Jorgensen would be the one that top 4 would want to avoid followed by Chou TC.

    Actually Axelsen was Denmark's 3rd MS back in May when the qualification lists established unless Denmark pick him instead of one of the 2 ahead of him in the list he wouldn't be going

    Nope. Axelsen is the first Men's Singles of Denmark.

    http://system.bwfbadminton.com/uplo... from WR 05-05-16 MS - 8 June phase 2.pdf

    But the seeding is based upon the world ranking of July 21, 2016. There would be no significant change of top 4 Men's Singles players from June 9, 2016 until 2016 Olympic Games. In that case, LD would be NO.3 seed and Viktor Axelsen would be NO. 4 seed. Yes, they are put in two separate half of draws.

    Whether LD would be drawn in LCW's half (NO. 1 seed) or CL's half (NO. 2 seed), it depends on chances.

    Allow me to repost my view from the Lin Dan thread as I thought it's more relevant here:

    If IOC wants full badminton crowd turnout, translating into sold-out ticket sales and high-demand for TV Live broadcast rights, for as many days as possible, the best draw outcome is for Lin Dan and LCW to be in the same half. Then as the Super Trio individually advances round after round, the heightened interest will build up to a crescendo just before the start of the semifinals pitting LD vs LCW and climaxing in another much-awaited Final between either LD/LCW versus Chen Long, assuming all three progress according to script.

    Otherwise, if Lin Dan is drawn in the same half as Chen Long, then their expected semifinal clash may not be as captivating as a Lin Dan - Lee CW semifinal. In other words, it's much better for the audience to get to see a dream clash between Lin Dan and LCW one day earlier and followed by the Final Day Gold Medal Playoff to see if either Lin Dan or LCW after their epic battle can still clinch gold from Chen Long, veritably a question on every badminton fan's lips. Wow, that will be so much to look forward to on both the Semifinals and the Final in Men's Singles.

    To elaborate my point further, in order to see a masterpiece performance,that is badminton of the highest order, it is necessary for both Lin Dan and LCW to be at their very best conditions, not when Lin Dan is slightly drained or stretched by having to play Chen Long first before meeting LCW.

    As such, I believe BWF and IOC would agree with me.
