I'm very happy for VA. And so nice to see that the Bronze means so much to him. He is still young. I think he has potential to really challenge for the top spot. Just need to sharpen the mental side of his game. He played very well today against LD. His movement and defence has improved tremendously imho. Waiting for him to win his first title now. Hopefully winning Thomas Cup and this Bronze will propel him even higher!

Axelsen is building up his confidence day by day. I won't be surprised to see him in the final at tokyo 2020.

This aspect I agree, more shot variation,a wider repertoire and, I'd add, a little more deception and better anticipation which comes from reading the opponent's game well which is developed from experience and intelligence.

In that order will mean, Lin Dan for silver, Chen Long for gold, LCW for bronze.

Man even when the Oly is over, the beating to LCW never ends from the fans.

for Tokyo 2020, it's gonna be a show down between Axelsen, Momota, Kidambi, and Chen Long if he's still around.

For women, there are too many names to list. LOL
