Congratulations to Chen Long! The dragon has finally supplanted LD to become China's undisputed #1. Perhaps Chen Long will have more success in the future as he chases the records that LD has set before him. Also congratulations to LCW for finally finding a way to beat LD at a major tournament and for putting up his best against Chen Long.

the main reason why Dato lost is not the energy depleting match with LD or Dragon playing great but it was MAS politicians that were cheering him anticipating gold, that is it...karma:rolleyes: nothing good comes out with those chaps cheering you on..time and time again

LEE CHONG WEI, YOU ARE A HERO

You won your friend Lin Dan yesterday, that was bigger than a Gold Medal for me.
Malaysians would rather chose Lee Chong Wei over any Gold Medal. The joy you give to them can't be expressed in words or Medals. those who witnessed the Glorious Decade of your career are one of the most lucky Badminton fans.

His greatest friend and nemesis is LCW not PG or TH. What a Sweet bromance indeed.

Well this may not be due to tactics but more an interaction from their form...

both LD and LCW appears to be tired in today's match and their opponents should have been fully aware of this, exploiting on this, together with their own possession of youngness, they dared to adopt a more aggressive approach in today's matches and it did work for them... could see LD even not able to run in the last few points....

the semi-finals were really costly to them both...

so nothing the coaches can do...

The best bromance of the year. Quite a sad defeat for them today. Both LCW & Lin Dan has gone a long way in creating history for badminton & make it popular in Olympics with all the front headline. Without this two, the MS will be so boring:(:(

Okay, honestly...I flew to Anaheim just to watch them play, took vacation time, flight and all...without them baddy is not the same appealing to me. One is all time greatest, the other the best player to play for MAS, perfect match in baddy heaven. Each match they played are par excellence, the greatest matches seen. and I would gladly pay to see them play anytime. I thanked them both.:)

That was what I said prior to the DRAW, that the draw is very important to bet on the winner. I said then that which side of the half that LD was drawn in, the opposite side has the edge. And I also said which player hits top form, will win it. Today CL is like LD in OLY08, unstoppable and playing very well, not the same level as LD in 08. Then again LD was standing on water in Beiging, nobody in baddy history could stop LD then.

Hahaha, uncle, you know, some posted on FB hoping/wishing/praying that Big Mama would send any letters, go to Brazil cos she will jinx the team.

She sent a letter to MD before their match, they saying she jinxed them/give bad luck. These are malay muslims saying so, hahaha

Thanks for the link. By letting Google translate it, the third sentence says:
如果他们彼此给对方写一封信的话,他们又会怎么说呢?--> If they write a letter to each other to each other, then how would they say?

Anyone can confirm this? If it's like that, it's just a wish from a fan how the letter would look alike but never have been written.
