No wonder his smashes are so damn fast. I remember reading somewhere that the 2U Z-Speed is not considerably slower than the 3U. *must resist urge to try Z-Speed once again*
Have to say, Fu's racket looks really nice. I think Hong Wei had one as well. Problem is I haven't liked any of Fu's rackets since the yellow Ti-10!
Yeah, they both look similar. FHF is using the N9II and Hong Wei the N99. I think the N99 might be the better racket for you. Now, I don't know the specs of the N9II yet, but you are right, FHF's rackets are mostly flexible or medium. The N99 is stiff and slightly head-heavy, but very fast.
I'm pretty sure it's the N99. Both, Hong Wei and Chai Biao have been using the N99, but Chai Biao switched to another racket (some old gen LN).
Hong Wei is indeed n99. But fhf is another racket. Until now the best bet is n9II. They both Look very similar, but n99 has slightly different Colors. But both really nice looking rackets.
Fu winning is a good thing, cretin but I agree on the other 2 points. Out of curiosity - why do you, as a Brit, dislike Langridge?
Is interesting to know what the reason behind players not using their regular sponsored rackets. Like GYL from Msia...she seems to have changed so many rackets over this season. But if 1 is a good player...no mater what mid level racket also good. May take a few games to get used to that is.
Hi. Any idea is FHF's racket, N9II is out in the market? Cant seem to see it anywhere, not even on LiNing's website.
Anyone have any idea what rackets Ihsan Maulana Mustofa, Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting are using right now? I think I remember Mustofa switching from a racket I don't know to the Z-Speed earlier in the year.
Ah okay. I was wondering what Jonatan and Ihsan were using. Ihsan must've tried the Z-Speed and gone back to ZF2.
While going through some of the pictures of Lin Dan at the Olympics, I noticed that in those pictures, his VTLD-F had a different color scheme than the one shown on the Yonex website and the early Olympic training pictures of Lin Dan with his new racket. The following are pictures of the racket from the website and the early Olympic training pictures. The gold color on one side of the frame ends with white on the top and the black color on the other side of the frame ends with red on the top. So gold/white and black/red are the two color combinations. Now here are the pictures from the Olympic matches. The gold color on one side of the frame ends with red on the top and the black color on the other side of the frame ends with white on the top. So here gold/red and black/white are the two color combinations. Since this color scheme difference was odd, I searched for a high resolution image of the racket used by Lin Dan during the Olympic Games. What I found was that this racket was not the newly launched VTLD-F, but the racket he used when he rejoined Yonex, which was VTZF2. However, this VTZF2 was painted in the VTLD-F color scheme. But Yonex mixed up the color scheme combinations, which led to this discovery. Please check the notes in the image attached below. All evidence points to Lin Dan using a repainted VTZF2.
