    This GP tournament has been concluded yesterday, TPE Masters tested BWF new scoring system, best of five games, to 11 points with no setting.

    Japan showed their depth in women's category to nail WD and WS crown in all Japanese finals. World #18 Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota fulfilled top billing defeated compatriots Tanaka/Yonemoto while current US Open Winner Ayumi Mine eliminated her junior Saena Kawakami.

    Men's singles category saw Indian player Sourabh Verma topped podium after Malaysian Liew Daren conceded retired due to shoulder injury in deciding game that ended 3-3. A runner-up position in THA GP Gold at previous week is no fluke for Hong Kong new sensation Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet as they proved the best pair here, disposed Japanese duo Taohata/Yonemoto. Last final witnessed the gruelling duel between Indonesian upcoming pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto who stunned home favourite and top-seed Chen HL/Wang CL in five sets, 11-6 / 11-6 / 11-13 / 9-11 / 12-10.
