Rackets are made in China. Though on the packet of the string it said made in Japan. Some products maybe made in Japan.

    Hi adrian,

Mizuno badminton rackets are made in China, dont worry about the quality though as they have very strict guidelines on the development and production of the rackets.

The high end rackets will still be as top notch in terms of quality in performance and finishing.

For the Victor and Lining rackets you gave, both are 3U , head heavy and stiff.

Offensive rackets try the Mizuno VF Tour, 3U, head heavy and stiff. ( small 53 sq in head frame )
VA Tour is 4U, balanced and stiff. ( small frame also )

Alternatively try the JPX 8.1 , 3U , slight head heavy, med flex. ( standard frame )

Does anyone know the difference between the JPX 8.0, 8.3 and the Tachyon 9.5? Because spec wise they look almost identical.

Just want to share that I have a JPX 8.1
    strung with yonex aerosonic @24bls.

    Very comfortable to use.
Sometimes I swing too fast (this is my first Aero frame racket), and missed the shuttlecock or hit the racket frame.
Most of the time the shots come off clean and crisp.

    Very very good racket.

By the way, I play doubles.

Both the JPX 8.0 and 8.3 features the aero-hex frame, stiff and weighs 4U.

The JPX 8.0 has an additional anti-twist T-joint for more controlled and accurate delivery during stroke play. This is also the reason they have a balanced head.

The JPX 8.3 has a slight head heavy 295mm for more offensive play.

Tachyon 9.5 is spec-ed similar to the JPX 8.0, but they are using a compressed concave frame with titanium lines in the shaft, increasing stability against flex and vibration.

Swing for the JPX and Tachyon will be slightly different.

What is the different between JPX 8.3 and 8.1? Both are head heavy. Just one 3U another one 4U?

We do not have the apparels, you might want to check with World of Sports.
Stencil card our dealers should have it.

Other than the weight, the 8.1 has got a 46 tonne carbon shaft compared to the 8.3 40 tonne shaft. The 8.1 will be slightly more sensitive due to the shaft construction.

Anyone else have a Mizuno Caliber Reg? I have the Okuraha Edition (4UG6). I've tried G-Tone 5 @ 27lbs and Aerobite @ 27lbs. Both times the racket felt so dead. Does the racket feel better at a slightly lower tension? Is there a string that works well with the Caliber Reg? Or should I go up to >28lbs?
The racket is rated for 26-27lbs tension. But I'm not sure how well Mizuno rackets handle higher than specified tensions.

Initially i bought my JPX 8.1 with BG65 at 27ibs which felt so numb to an extent that i wanted to let it go (start asking for swaping). I cut the string after 1st game, restring it with AeroBite at 25ibs and it totally blew me away with its performance. Maybe you want string it at lower ibs?

AFAIK , they will not be brought in. Demand for the Calibers are higher from our dealers as compared to the Luminasonic.
FYI, luminasonics has got a lower tension range .

    The Lumi VF tour ( small frame ) 22 - 26lbs, Lumi VS Tour 19 - 24 lbs.
