We won't see the beauty of badminton, when Saina playing. Brute force attacks all the time..

BSP is extremely talented but even more inconsistent. He has made loads of upsets in his career and at one time we thought he'll replace PK as the IND#1 (before KS had a meteoric rise and fall).
Hope he just veleive in himself and go all out, there's nothing to loose, he's WR#36 which on paper doesn't even take him to the main draw of a SS.

BTW really happy for Sameer and HSP, they had tricky opponents, keep the good work going

Actually that's the beauty of WS, we got so much variety in playing style.

Hufff that was a close shave SN won finally, after g1 it really looked ominous. And PB is no pushover, which means SN is at least someway there

so many easy mistakes by saina thanks to her lack of match practice, looked a little bit sluggish to me, it's always tough to come back and find your true form no doubt about that, hope she gets better from here on. .she seems to have put on some weight as well post rio during her rehab.

right. .I mean pb always have good matches against top players and saina managed to match her last week and defeated her today shows that it's just a matter of some time and she will be back to where she belongs.

If you say smashing all the time is beautiful then I agree to differ. Btw is Saina and Sindhu in the same half?

Nah what I mean is that WS unlike most other disciplines have players who have vastly different playing styles. And that's the beauty of WS. Yeah SN is really powerful and that's what her biggest strength.
Yeah they are, but I doubt their encounter since, SN has another runner as opp tomorrow Sayaka Sato. SN's stamina is suspect and after today's match I doubt her chances to win tomorrow :(

I liked the idea of pairing Watanabe with Endo, was never a big fan of Hayakawa.

As Li Yongbo said, lick of experience. A learning process for him , he will grow up and mature. Which great player didn't have setbacks early in their career.

Saina's stamina seems ok. I believe she can go far. It would be great to see the two Indian ladies 'kill' each other :/
