Usually groups find it difficult to get more than two courts due to the high demand. I found that going to groups in HK is through personal introduction. In Guangzhou there are many social groups usually mid - high beginners level. Our group comprise of very new beginner to mid intermediate levels, we welcome all levels. Know some groups that are for intermediate levels and above only, myself not qualified , have some friends there. One of my friend used to take part in the Mayor's cup and won i think twice. Think he's probably one of the few foreigner to had won the Mayor's Cup.

Ahh, that is too short time, and I will attend a tournament during 17 and 18 Dec. Sorry I will not be able to bring you to some clubs. You may visit the club in Tianhe Middle school, check previous post, a club played there every Wed and Sun.
Hi, i will be in guangzhou from dec 25 to 28 and am looking to join USA high intermediate (so probably gz high beginnner? trained for 1 year, played for 4 years on and off?) play. I'd really appreciate any introduction to clubs/groups as I'm quite unfamiliar with both the area/china badminton. am american-born chinese so can understand but quite poor at speaking both mando and canto

A member of my Thai badminton club has just moved to work in GZ and he's looking for a good badminton club to join. His level is competitive, so he won't want to join with the beginners.
