Just curious, what's your string setup like?

For the record, the Gosen G-Tone 9 is a new string setup that I'm trying. I may restring my JSA to my preferred setup (Victor VS850 @ 27 lbs) to see if I still feel the drag on the string bed.

The JSA does pack a lot of punch though. Comparable to my JJS which I tested with, but with that irritating drag on the string bed :/

Just had a brief session with my newly acquired ahmad racket.
Nice feel to it while playing. Doesn't seem very tiring. Effortless lifts to base line. Pretty quick in defense. Drives are also solid and with power. Haven't played many smashes and net shots. Will post more after a real game tomorrow.

OK, he is a little more comprehensive review of js ahmad.
In one sentence 'I love it'
I'm a doubles player who smashes from the back and also rushes to the net to cover drops and weak returns to finish them.

    I've got a 4u racket strung at 26 lbs with bg66 strings.
From the back court, forehand clears reach the base line effortlessly. Also back hand clears reach as far as one wants, with control.
Smashes hit have got a solid whack to it and placement is accurate. Also steep smashes can be hit, if one desires at will. Just a matter of hitting it at a higher contact point and with an angle. Got a lot of points with that shot, as most players are standing way back to receive the smash.
My drops from the back are not very good, hence cannot give a fair comment, but the angles again are very steep. And the shot is easy to execute. In fact, I'm able to hit backhand drops more easily now and they fall very close to the net.
Mid court drives are also easy to play, and the racket is easy to wield during fast exchanges, even when changing from forehand to backhand.
Near the net drops are executed very precisely and with control, making it difficult for players to return, resulting in easy kills. Also service returns can be played very close to the net as the shuttle remains true and doesn't bounce unnecessarily.
Finally defense with the racket is also easy, both sides. And the lifts generated while defending are pretty deep, makes it difficult for the opponents. Blocks to the net are tight and weak flat smashes can be smashed back by just stepping in and directing the racket face downwards.
Overall, very satisfied. It's a good racket for doubles, for people with good smashes who need control and who needs a racket with good defense characteristics.

For those Ahmad users looking for a string colour match, Lin Dan bright red BG80 and BG66u matches up nicely.

Hi Paul.. From your opinion, which one better between Jetspeed Ahmad and Hypernano X800 Limited? Which one the more user friendly?
Also is it enough to string it on 25lbs using Yonex BG 66 Ultimax?

    Cheers

I've had 4U's in both. Both great racquets, I think the 800 just edges it in all around play.
