I purchased an used Gamma X-ST machine with fixed tennis clamps and would like to upgrade to fixed badminton clamps now to complement my 2x Yonex flying clamps. I'm looking to get Gamma replacements since I cannot afford the Toyozouki clamps and the Gammas look good from a price/quality stand point. There are 4 different Gamma clamps being offered on ATSSports:

    GAMMA Badminton Fixed Clamp (MDCSC-11) - $64.95 http://www.atssports.com/tennis.cfm?product=839
    GAMMA Thin Profile Fixed Clamp (MCFCT-00) - $64.95 http://www.atssports.com/tennis.cfm?product=835
    GAMMA Universal Fixed Clamp (MDCSC-13) - $99.95 http://www.atssports.com/tennis.cfm?product=2961
    GAMMA 4-Tooth Universal Clamp (MMSC-13) - $139.95 http://www.atssports.com/tennis.cfm?product=3025

Which one works best for badminton rackets only? Why is the last one so much more expensive than the others?

In my opinion, the 5-tooth universal (MDCSC-13) clamps are really nice. They hold the string really well and the spacing is good for badminton rackets. I used to own the 4-tooth badminton clamps as well (MDCSC-11), and the spacing for badminton is great too. However, these clamps are quite bulky compared to the 5-tooth, since the dial protrudes from the actual clamp whereas for the universal clamps, they are both embedded into the clamp a little more. This makes clamping strings close together much easier, where you don't have two clamps competing for real estate. All in all, the Gamma clamps are really nice and of great quality. Whichever you choose to get, you won't regret your decision.

In my opinion, one of the Universal Clamps (MMSC-13) or (MMCSC-13) will be well worth the price you pay, as you can use them for both Tennis and Badminton. The ergonomics of these universal clamps are much better too.

MMSC-13 - I have these on my Machine and don't really have much complaints, when you adjust them properly I don't have any slipping issues.

I just wished they were slightly thinner, so I can clamp the 11th mains closer to the frame, but I have a feeling most clamps will give you this issue, usually I end up using YY flying clamps for certain spots.
