N99 is definitely on the stiff side. I would say it's on par with the original VT80 or the JS10 if you look at Victor. And hell yeah, this thing is quite bitchy and not an easy to use racket.
Hmm, to compare N99 & N9II, which one is faster, lighter in feel? Looking at the chart N9II is a tad more head heavy and flex. Airstream faster or sword like faster....?
Hi, since we are talking about n99. I have been using n99 for a week now. I realised that the sweet spot is a bit small, but not z-speed small. But, I think the racket itself is easy to use. I wonder, is n99 really fast? I can not tell the difference between this and my AS11. The head is definitely N99 > AS11. But, the speed to manoeuvre, I can not tell. They seem on par.
On the contrary. People believe AS11 is just ok, in terms of speed, whereas N99 is fast. I was expecting N99 to be "faster" than AS11, even though I dont know how to measure this fast-ness thing
Ah ok, if you say so. That confirms what I feel I also believe that Arc11 is a bit faster, but not really sure.
I think the player is usually slower than the racquet anyways . If you have strong wrists and good technique, then anything can be fast.
i have used in the past the ZFII and it is much stiffer than my now regular go to N99. In fact after a few matches my arms will start to tire after using the ZFII, i can last longer using the N99. The new N9ii is so good looking my hands are getting jittery.
Seeing from this chart, it is reasonable to think that N80 II is slower and head heavier than N99. However, based on the specs themselves, both of N80 II and N99 have BP 298. This is confusing (at least to me). Any enlightenment will help
My opinion based on my friends rackets' JS10 3u and JS10 3u MYP. Stiff MYP > JS10 >= N99 Manoeuvrability JS10 > N99 >= MYP Smash N99 > MYP > JS10 I personally like N99 more for smashing because of the sound it produces, so probably my opinion is a bit bias on the smash side.
BP alone is worthless without the weight - the Arc FB has a pretty high BP as well, but is a fly swatter since it weighs so little. I can confirm that the N80ii is pretty head heavy, though. Probably somewhere in the 4u ZFii region, or just a tad lighter than the original 3u VT80.
Both N80ii and N99 are head heavy. But N80ii shaft is stiffer than N99. N80ii is quite same spec as Yonex ZFII LCW. Unless you have very powerful arm, if not you will injured your arm after play with N80ii. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
