Rajiv Ouseph, landslide favourite for this one followed by Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge.

Would love to see Vittinghus win an AE. Just for the pure entertainment value.
Problem is, he usually has no skin left on his knees or fingers by QF from all the dives.

Would be nice to see a youngster in the final, like Qiao Bin, just to shake the old guard up.:)

There are also a few young English players who have the potential to do well.

Why not include an "others" option in the poll! Although I believe it's gonna be one of the kings, would love to watch a youngster or a resurgent to grab it

A brand new badminton mat at a new national training center and he's greeted with an injury. Luckily,it wasn't debilitating, only requiring 3 to 6 weeks for him to recover, better not take any chances, esp for a 34-year-old.

Wish LCW speedy and full recovery, the Superseries will be missing something without him, for me, that is.

How can we make this the main All England Open 2017 thread? (This is the only thread about this tournament at the moment)

I think Chen Long will do it this year. I will be going to watch as possible the last time to see some of the greats before they retire. I really wish LCW can be there.

    Kindest regards,

Wow Nozomi Okuhara vs Saina N. in first round clash! That should be interesting. That will be the comeback of Nozomi; and must-win situation for her given how many rankings she has lost in the second half of 2016.

Surprised to see that LXR is not registered in this tournament. Still not recovered from that injury I guess

Sato vs Intanon will be interesting too! Hopefully Intanon is fully fit.

In MS, Chen L. vs Marc Z. shoud be interesting.

The new from LCW is that he still think he might recover in time for AE 2017. Lets cross all fingers n toes possible.

It looks like Kwun is gone for a long holiday in some recluse tropical island. With no internet.
