oh nice! Aw i wish i could be a babolat ambassador. But i dont do any official coaching anymore and dont have much time to play all the circuits like i used to. Still keep my toes in the water by playing for 3 clubs and stringing for 4 clubs though
We have a conference soon (during All Englands) and I will let you know of the new stuff coming out in 2017 from Babolat The shoes have already been released but there might be more. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
Aren't these handball shoes? I doubt they offer sufficient protection to the ankle or toe drag area. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day Life is like swimming upstream with a 50kg body suit on.
Yes, they are listed as handball shoes, but it's the same shoe as the badminton listed Quickforce 7.1. Same sole just different fabrics on the upper part of the shoe. I wanted to try these instead of the 7.1 because I didn't like the powerwave fabric on my Wucht P8 Boost.
Fair enough. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day There used to be a real me, but I had it surgically removed.
I don't see diffidences among badminton, handball, and racquetball shoes. Someone wants to educate me?
Very nice looking shoes you got there mate. They seem to be comfy. Do they fit standard or wide? And do they have the same sizing as Victor shoes?
they are lovely and very comfortable. i would say the fit is standard. size wise yes pretty similar to victor in my opinion.
I see, too bad if they're standard fit. My wide flap feet would not fit them. I fall for their nice colors. Actually I'm considering between this Babolat Shadow Tour, Victor SH-A830 and SH-8500 Ace.
Some worn out shoes, the oldest is almost 2 years old, while the newest is around 6 months old. Each pair of Flypower Prambanan size 46, YY SHB-02 LTD size 45, YY Ultima 87 Ltd size 45, and Li Ning Hero No.1 size 46.
What about the weight, mate ? Does it feel relatively more heavy ? I have Li-Ning Hero No. 1 which has a similar mid and outer sole design like yours, and it is very heavy for its size compared to others. Perhaps the upper synthetic leather material affects it because it is a rather thick, stiff, & solid material, with almost no fabric mesh in it.
I had the SHB-02 before (no Li Ning in my size available in EU), the weight feels very similar, although I cant say I have paid that much attention to it Certainly had no 'wow' moment when I put them on with regards to weight, so if there is a weight difference, it's not really noticeable on your feet. I'd guess the LN are the lighter pair by a bit, though. Model is called 'Flash X' in Eu by the way. The real difference is the feeling and structure - these feel much softer, both the sole and the upper shoe, and the heel isnt as high as in the newer Yonex shoes. Different philosophies, basically, this shoe will feel very natural and allow your foot to move freely with a fairly flexible sole, while the Yonex have harder dampening and a more supportive (and thus restrictive) upper shoe. Sole is really grippy so far, unlike any other I've had, although just a little dust on the floor will negate that quickly
These badboys arrived yesterday. Black Yonex SHB CFLDEX. In terms of looks, these shoes immediately caught the eye of many players at the session I went to. Simply put, they look badass Comparison as follows, for those thinking of buying. I have only worn the SHB SC6LDEX before. Cushioning: SC6LDEX > CFLDEX, but not by a lot. Definitely more forefoot and back foot cushioning in the SC6, but the couldn't feel any difference in the Power Cushion layering (despite Yonex/marketing saying otherwise). Impact on the floor was the same. Weight: SC6LDEX > CFLDEX. CFLDEX was noticeably lighter. Better for tournament games. Stability: SC6LDEX = CFLDEX, not real differences. Ankle support is decent in both, and are very stable when planting your feet after lunges. Fit: I like the slightly wider fit of the CFLDEX (I have wide feet). On top of that, the mid foot is a very snug, stable fit, which I like. Looks: As above, the pics and reaction speaks for itself.....
The 2017 Babolat Shadow Tour yellow blue colourway which I will be getting this week: 20170310_142700 by InvincibleAjay posted Jul 31, 2017 at 12:46 AM 20170310_142653 by InvincibleAjay posted Jul 31, 2017 at 12:46 AM I look forward to trying them out, I've heard the toe drag area is thicker and more durable even though I had no issues with my previous shoes. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.
To protect the toe drag area, I've been successful in using a strip of athlete's tape there. Needs changing every few sessions but sure beats having a hole develop there after 9 months if I don't. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Yes I'm aware of that but I've never had real issues, its more aesthetic than anything.
