If you've been using nanorays and kinesis, then I wouldn't really worry about Jetspeed 12 being unsuitable for your single game.

The Kinesis are also available in 3U. The Kinesis X80 is a great racket for singles. The X900 Ltd less so.

Since both of them are even balanced or slightly head heavy, if you want to play singles, you should go for 3U I guess.. Anyone with a 3U can comment on this?

I have issues with my JS10's in terms of sinking grommets. Can't understand how pros run a 4U (KGJ at AE) at 34/35lbs. I can't imagine. I use continous grommets for both. The bottom and the shared holes at the top are prone for sinking grommets and I just run them at 30/31 for less than a year and change grommets very frequent.

IMO the current Victor frames all have issues. 800P/C cracks, JS10 and JS12 sinking grommets and breakage, Thruster K9900 got several recalls. I used BS10's for more than 5 years and none of them had sinking grommets and got 5 times more restrings than my JS10's and more pounds with thinner strings. Without grommets my JS10's look horrible. Also have noticed this on a friends JS8PS when I got it first time for restring. I was eyeing with the JS12, but after these pictures and my own experience...and to make it clear: I binned all grommets after 2 restrings and replaced them and was not the Tina Turner, like the guys in the pictures here.

I'm tired and go to bed. Was a long stringing evening. I will give tomorrow some details about my solution in my JS10's. Just wait.

I think the 12 could be used in singles personally. The 10 would be very difficult in 4u. I play with both in 4u and often use the 12 if im too tired to go with my 3u tk9000.

    yes please

    if you have AC416L 1, 2, 3, 4 AND AC416W 1,2,3

could you put some pictures up of each of the strips, perhaps a ruler next to each strip so we could all see the gaps apart from each grommet

I don't have much time atm, but for my JS10 I need to cut the strips twice with my knipex, due the offset at the bottom. Regardless which strip.

    thanks for that

    could you put up

    AC416L 1, 2, 3, 4
    AC416W 1, 2, 3

and have a ruler next to each of them, it would be very helpful so we could order the strips according to the gap differences for our other rackets

If we see any in Birmingham - and there's no gag order - we'll let you know.
It's been out a year, so I'm surprised it's taken this long for a sig version to appear.

The never release signature versions though, the F suggests a girl version?
