I got mine from e78.us. They got 7 rackets again after being out of stock.

Price at e78 is really fair I would say. But since we are currently on the verge of buying a house, my badminton budget is on a strict shuttles-only diet at the moment.

If I remember correctly, 150 €. 130 for the racket and 20 for the shipping. Luckily I did not have to pay customs fees.

So Rob3rt, how are your affairs with your Customedge Type N and the Inferno developing? Do you have a clear favorite? And most important, are they a serious threat for your marriage with the N80?

I can't help but thinking that Gosen might be the next manufacturer I will take a closer look at. I'm not very impressed with the latest releases from neither Victor nor Yonex. And so far, I also couldn't really make friends with Li-Ning rackets at all.

I played a local tournament (MD) last weekend and guess what racket I've been using... - the N80!

Out of the two Gosen rackets I somehow prefer the Inferno. Not only for the looks but also because it's faster and is still more powerful, even as a 4U (maybe because of the balance). Haven't used the Type N a lot, tbh.

Not at all... :D It's just not worth it for me. I prefer the extra feel and power my N80 gives me. And because I can defend better with a 3U racket than I can smash with a 4U racket I think I will stick with the N80.

Mate, you are truely a faithful guy! I wonder if there are parallels from the way we treat our sports equipment to the way we act in other parts of life?! ;)

I know it's been some time since you had a JS10, but from your memory - can the Inferno hit harder than a JS10 4U? And what about a comparison with the JS12 3U?

I had a lot of one-night stands and affairs with other rackets, but they were not as fulfilling as the long time relationship with my N80. They were mainly for the excitement. :D

    If I remember correctly:

    Stiffness: JS10 > JS12 >= Inferno
    Head-heavyness (~ power): Inferno > JS12 > JS10
    Speed: Inferno > JS10 > JS12

Hey, as long as your N80 tolerates your little affairs, everything's fine. Who am I to judge?!

But waaaait a second there. So you are actually saying that the Inferno is faster than a JS10 4U and yet hits harder than a JS12 3U? Is it even legal to claim things like that in public?

But lucky me, e78 is again run out of stock...

Lol, it's been a while since I've used the JS10 so I'm not terribly sure about the speed, but the Inferno definitely hit the hardest (for me personally and my swing speed, that is). ;)

PS: MBS has the Inferno. hehe

Now I'm interested in the inferno again...which Yonex or Victor racket is it closest to again?

I guess it's similar to the JS12 4U. You know the specs of the Inferno. It's been you who was recommending it to me in the first place, lol.

Although I'm doing so very well with my 4x Gungnir Alphas that I'm loathe to try to adapt to another racket.

I clearly prefer e78 for an obvious reason. ;)

Apparently, they expect to get some more Infernos by mid of April. And since I have my next courier coming back from HK by the end of April, this should fit my timing pretty well. After what you just wrote, there is no way in hell that I can skip that racket untested. :)

EDIT: Oh boy... seems like someone is following this thread. e78 has another 20 pcs. on stock. It will be 19 pcs. very soon I think. :D

EDIT 2: I hate you all, you know that?

Anyone has experience with e78 to declare the item as a gift and cost less when shipping overseas to avoid local taxes? Do they do that?
