That was at the all england championship. Don't think they had any for sale if I remember correctly. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
Heard that VT LDF new color will be matte finish, while VT LDF Rio edition is glossy finish. What the difference between matte and glossy?
In terms of performance? None. Glossy is prettier at first, but if it gets scratched, it looks ugly. Matte covers up the weaknesses.
Gloss paint is typically harder and more durable than matte paint. Case in point, many Yonex's racquets are matte, but the paint chips off far more easily than say a glossy Li-ning. Yonex paint is so bad that even a poor mounting into the stringing machine can take off paint. Li-ning paint doesn't chip even after clashing the racquet, multiple times.
Yeah this is true. I had a MX80 and JetSpeed S10 before, even with racket clash their paints seems to be still intact, unlike yonex's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm happy for any one to sponsor me a n9ii to add to my rackets collection too. Be aware of your environment and do less silly clashes. Save your rackets for your next generation.
Tried playing with this racket yesterday. Did not like it, too flexible. Maybe it's just me used to stiff rackets but I can't generate much power with this thing. For example original Voltric 80 has more power and better control thanks to being stiffer. Victor Hypernano X800 Power has somewhat similar flex and balance point but for me Hypernano produces much more power. And is a faster racket. For singles badminton I will stick to my Voltric 80 and Z-Force II.
No, only the design changing from glossy red n gold to black n red matte Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Some manufacturers use a protective coat on the paint. Li Ning definitely do. This coating isn't put on matte paint as far as I know. Yonex have always given England stupid prices. Just like a lot of Japanese companies do, I call it westerner tax.
Available now. Check out http://www.directbadminton.co.uk/pr...ton&Dept=badminton-rackets&FromSearchPage=Yes.

The pricing difference also has to reflect the additional distribution and storage costs which Asia do not have. When I spoje to the Yonex rep I was told that this is a completely new racket rather than new paint work. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
