Random Thought - 72x holes, skip a11 go a12?

How come for old rackets, we don't skip a11 & A11 when stringing the top mains, and finish on a12 & A12.

This would make a more square stringbed, you don't get the super slanted last main strings.

Is there a reason why this would be bad?

depends on the grommets probably, i've done it on one of mine before, but the grommets on that racket are pretty big.

I'd string this way if a12 and A12 are shared holes.

It seems like majority of the older Yonex rackets are pretty much shared holes in all the corner spots even when they don't need to be, okay I'll definitely try this next time and see if it's better :)

I actually did this accidentally when I first started stringing. Copied the ZF2 pattern onto a VT 0.

There was a Panda in the works a few years ago that had this pattern - I called it a "4+1". But then I name everything.
