Mid flex, Evenly Balanced racket for an experienced beginner?

    You're welcome Champak.
    I'm of the mind now that I'd rather spend £60 - £70 on another Ashaway, where you're getting a very high quality racket, than on a mid-range Yonex for the same cash. That's not to say a VT7 is rubbish... it's a great racket. I just feel now that you may get more 'bang for your buck' with other brands. For me, it's been a 'leap of faith' thing :)
    My LD Force was a bit of an indulgence, btw... a rare birthday treat! I don't routinely spend that big on a bat.
