Liked bg80 around 26-28lbs, wanted to try different brands for a change. Interested in kizuna and i was recommended kizuna 68, anyone tried any strings from this manufacturer?
I've tried all the premium Kizuna strings. K58, K63 and K69. They are pretty decent made in Japan strings. Comes in a nice cardboard packaging like the Japan coded yonex strings.
i have tried k58. excellent control and repulsion. power is above average. not yet break so that cannot decide durability, not looking good though.
Mind to share your experience with K63 ? Does it close to any Yonex strings ? Feeling soft/hard/medium ? Tension hold good or poor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Set up: My experience with the Kizuna K63 premium is largely positive. Have been playing with this string for the past 2 months, 8 to 10 sessions so far. I string my racquet at 27lbs mains and 29lbs crosses, with a 10% pre-stretch, 2 pieces 4 knots. Strings didn't snap but have the usual signs of fraying. Feel and sound: If I were do compare it with yonex strings, I'll rate it as medium feeling (slightly softer feeling than Ultimax). Produces a nice 'boom' during smashes and nice pinging sound on net shots due to the thin guage. Tension: Pre-stretching the string does help with the retaining the tension for a longer time. The playability of the strings definitely lasts longer than ultimax.
Got a chance to try Z63 for 1 session on doubles Racket : Voltric LD Force (3U5G) String : Kizuna Z63 Repulsion : 10 Durability : 8 (lose tension the way as ultimax) Sound : 10 (sounds louder than ultimax) Control : 7 (I feel kind of hard to control some times, maybe not used to it. Will update once i get to play again) Feel : medium feel
No.. I only manage to get to try Z63 by chance cause the stringer I regular to, happen to get sample from a supplier. Repulsion definitely better than ultimax.
Hi, Can anyone tell me where to get Kinuna K63 premium in Singapore? was recommended my someone but not sure where I can find it here.. Thanks.
So I just ordered a vt 70 e tune from e78 and with it, I decided to take the opportunity to try a brand of strings I’ve only seen on e78 - Kizuna. I’ve ordered the .63mm string, but yeah, wondering if anyone has tried these strings before.
Im interested too, its boring to keep using 66um or bg 80. Theres a shop near me selling z63,64,69 premium, 66, 58. Wonder if they are any good
I've been using Z63 Z64 Z58 Z68 for several months. Z58 : Best control, you can adjust power output level with twice or 3 times higher resolution using Z58. Drawback is lacking power. Z63: Best power & durability across all thin string range, sound / repulsion / control are also great No drawback, perform great right after strung. Z64: Thicker Z63, even better power & durability, control go down a little, others the same. Need few hours of play to kick in. My favorite. Z68: Even thicker Z64, performance is great in 0.68 mm range but not revolutionary. Power is godlike, but control and crispness is not as godlike as Z63 & Z64. Can't comment on durability for it's not yet broke. *z63 / z64 / z68 are stiff strings. Z58 is soft. **z63 / z64 / z68 can crit at the verge of it's sweetspot & non-sweetspot. ***z63 / z64 are revolutionary in my opinion, even compared with GT5 / LN-1 / ZM62F. ****z63 & z64 are sort of out of stock recently, and I guess they are OEMing for Victor VBS series. That's why I had to try Z68 out. I had to increase 4lbs to 30x32 to maintain the same stiffness as Z64. At least, Z68 has good response to high tension while a lot of strings don't.
