Sounds like the KOR and DEN are managing the changeover of their national team coach/ manager much better than INA and CHN-- though to be fair, Kang and Kenneth are basically building on the precessors' work while making important adjustments; whereas INA and CHN have a bigger legacy to live up to and seems to be in need of more fundamental change...
Nah KOR/DEN/INA i think they all have same problems. Denmark has not many new talent coming through the doubles department and is basically relying on (Axelsen?) and KOR has good players and find it tought winning the SS titles. Sung&Son is late stage players but they are not really winners.and not really young anymore.
Zhang Nan asked for medical treatment at 19-16 first game after Liu Cheng incidentally hit the shuttlecock that directed to Zhang Nan head, ridiculous.
also, I think Kevin/Gideon is not used to the number 1 tag. They havent won since they are the FirstSeed. I sincerely pray they wont be number 1 seed come WorldChampionship. Just let Boe/Mogensen or Li/Liu have it hahaha.
We also know that Number 1 seed in Men's Double rarely win the WorldC/Olympic Title. Ahsan/Hendra won it twice without being Seed 1.and also the lastOlympic
“Lagi ga enak aja mainnya hari ini, belum pas feeling mainnya,” katanya. http://www.rappler.com/indonesia/olahraga/172901-indonesia-open-2017-kevin-gideon-kalah On the same occasion, Kevin said he was actually suffering from a shoulder injury since Wednesday last week, although he does not want to make it as a reason for today's defeat. During the (last) game I was careful, I smash every certainly ngerasain [feel] pain in my shoulder, but that's no excuse, "said Kevin. While Marcus admitted his game today was not optimal as before. "They [We] do not taste good game today, has not exactly feeling the game," he said.
Answered by @Coro 's post Kevin's shoulder injury, and also the "not feeling the game" thingy. Although "not feeling the game" in front of home crowd is ridiculous, IMO. #Tapatalk
Lucky indeed, but almost zero smashing from Tan. And most of them are returned back promptly by the the Japanese team! I wonder if they are playing a slower game to upset the opponents rythm or maybe jsut too tired. Any the strategy seems to be working. Leading 11 - 9 in the decider.
Tan is playing as the front player and Setiawan as the rear court player. Something not right with Tan?
