Four-tooth versions tend to have better spacing for badminton, so they'd be preferable, if anything.

Money right down the drain. Sorry if the videos aren't the best - I only had my Huawei P9 Lite available..

I tried my best to capture some of the flaws, but I'll describe them here too.
The clamping mechanism seemed very smooth as they arrived, however as I tested them they could only hold 6 kg.. I tried to tighten the clamp, which was a 10 minute struggle as they are crap, but I got it done. I tightened them a lot, and they became really "choppy" as I closed them.
When I then tried to test them with a string, they just destroyed the string and wasn't even able to hold 26 lbs. The construction of them seem really bad aswell. I have been using these: http://www.tactic.dk/product.asp?product=6183, which aren't the best, but waaaay better than the TennisPro. If you want to string beyond 13 kg with those, you'll get a little bit of string flattening, however I definitely recommend those over these.
I will try my best to get my money back for the clamps...

I'm using a Gamma version of the 5-teeth clamp you posted, those work very well, I don't think the price is much different.

I have no issues holding 28lbs + 10% PS even with very thin NBG-98 or BG-66UM.

The clamps mechanisms still run very smooth, on occasion I need to clean the diamond coated friction pads to keep things working well.

They are really expensive in Europe. A pair of 5-tooth goes for 260 euros - 4-tooth goes for 400 euros, which is just absolutely ridiculous...

it could be the tolerance was designed for tennis string. have you tried say putting a namecard at the jaw to help close up the gap?

Pretty certain that's not the problem. If you look at the last video I tried to show how it clamped the string so hard together that it became flat :/ It clamps the string a crazy lot, but it can't hold anything..

So it is a lack of friction/grip?

Exactly! I want to believe that I got a faulty one, because who is ever going to be needing a clamp that can only hold around 6-7kg? :/

Oh wow I never knew they were so expensive :/

Did you try cleaning the grippers, could be grease/oil from the factory to prevent rusting.
