Satwik Rankireddy/Ashwini Ponappa are into R16 after a 2 game win. They face INA's Praveen/Debby next. Satwiksairaj RANKIREDDY Ashwini PONNAPPA - Tinn ISRIYANET Pacharapun CHOCHUWONG 21-17 21-13
Satwik/Chirag have a tough match coming up against INA's No.1 Kevin/Marcus. At least today, Satwik only has to play 2 matches!
Exactly, she's easily my Fave Korean Women player, and by easily I mean, by huge margins. Loved when she played with JKE, may not be the most successful pair but atleast they were refreshing unlike CYN/LSH
Out of form since the WC. Heavily, that is. At this point I'm thinking it's because of the racket change.
For a player of her class and attitude I don't think that change of racquet is a reason "good enough" not after so many tourneys atleast.
Anybody, if the may, can take tuitions from Siki Reddy to self destruct. 5-3 to 5-11 just complete sloppy play Update 5-15, abysmal
Well done, golden oldie, Lee Hyun Il, avenging his previous defeat on the hard-hitting up-and-comer,Wang Tzu Wei, as close as it can get going by the scoreline, a long, grueling war of attrition lasting 109 minutes! A remarkable feat for such a mismatch as far as age difference is concerned, 37 years old vs 22 , a 15 years gap !
Both KOR Open MS finalists out in R1, Anthony and Jonatan, consistency is what's lacking in them. The 36-year old- Hu Yun beating the 20-year-old KOR Open champion is just as commendable as Lee Hyun Il's feat; their age gap, 16 years ! Well, youth vs experience, either side can have the upper hand, depending on each individual player.
and she's by far the best XD player they have and tbh she doesn't get enough credit for the massive improvement she made from 2014-2015(?) and onwards. i think she's probably always gonna have more success when playing XD but it's good to see her playing WD again, she'll be helpful in developing the youngsters
SN looking heavy, her footwork sluggish, again? Anybody else? But she's getting back in the game was 10-5 down at one moment
