    Hello,

I am looking for a head/throat badminton support for my stringing machine. I already contacted gamma and tennisman.de but no luck.
Already tried a load spreader but With some rackets it is too big.

Does somebody know where to get it?

The machine is a gamma/toalson progression II with L mounts

So far, I haven't seen any generic Gamma-style main supports.

In which dimension do you think the standard MBS style load spreaders are too big? Do you have issues to get the final cross around it?

I think you didn't removed the plastic of the 12 o'clock support. Just pull it of with nose pliers and bin it. Cut one Loadspreader into a 3 fork for oval heads and you are fine for 95% of all rackets.

    did you try emailing Gamma?

a few years ago Gamma runs their own etail site that has everything in it, but seems that they stopped doing that.

the gamma support is absolutely best in the market, solid and lots of clearance. so try to get it if you can:

Matsumo, you're in the Netherlands? If so, might be better to order one from Gamma Europe: https://www.gamma-europe.com/Badminton_1

Stefan is a really helpful guy and should be able to assist with any queries. I bought my Gamma 6004 SC from him along with 2 of the badminton frame supports which are absolutely worth it as others have attested to. Do note that the plastic support is now flat, at least on the SM (MBFS 13) Quick Adjust version. I would prefer the "older style" curved one but there wasn't an option that I was aware of.

I would definitely look at the Yonex H-piece (expensive), but there are thin versions of the cheapo "five-finger" spreaders knocking around out there:

I've got another one with the two outer teeth sawn off and it's never interfered with any top cross.

My Badminton store is a legit shop, I have ordered from Winston for years. String prices pretty competetive too

You can mail some of the USA shops which has Gamma account. They can probably get it cheaper and then the shipping to Netherlands won't be so crazy (still won't be cheap!)

I think @kakinami can hook you up with somebody he knows? ;)

Just received the wise 2086 from Tennisman.de. The gripper is about 8 cm below stringbed level. Because of the friction of the strings thru the grommets i think i have to set the tension a little bit higher than normally. Is there a known spacer/adapter for this issue? Other than that i am very happy with this machine setup.
