The stiffness of Astrox 77 is stiff, but still 'bouncy' at the same time, if you are an Astrox 77 user you will know what Im trying to say.

yes this was my experience as well and ARC11 is my main racquet. a full smash with AX-77 reminds me of a VT-70 with lots of floaty power, but quite lacking in the precision expected of a stiffer shaft.

AX77 definitely does play flexier on full swings and stiffer otherwise (net, drive, defense, etc)

I just try Astrox 77 3U Blue, on defensive quite similar to BS 12. But it seems more head heavy than BS 12 . Also more powerful than BS 12.

Guys : How do you compare this Astrox 77 to Arcsaber 11 ?

    Thanks.

The info for the Astrox 7 and Astrox 6 can be found on Yonex's official webpage. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this.

Edit: Astrox 6 is "Hi-Flex" whilst the Astrox 7 is still "Medium" flex

then you should really try one.
I sold my ZSP(old) for I can't play well with it.
But I gave the new ZSP a chance and fell in love at once.

Doubt I will honestly. I'm not a fan of the new lime green colour. At least the old orange was striking and good looking to me.

    and for his next act:

"who else on the pro circuit is using AX77? what color? what string and tension? AX77 blue with yellow shoes made me play slower, but AX77 blue with blue shoes i had .032% speed increase in footwork and 0.58% increase in swing speed"

lol. We're all just humans, getting carried away by our emotions sometimes. I got upset myself with my first time experience with a Victor racket concerning QC.

I have a 4U version, plays really quick around the court. when you just hold the racket in your hand you can feel the headweight, but when you swing with it for some reason i dont feel the headweight too much. Sometimes it feels like a headlight racket especially when defending and playing reflex shots. Balance point i am not sure about. Played 10 hours with it now and i really like it. I will say though that people who want thunderous smashes might not get it from this racket. The smashes are good and accurate. Touch and feel are great, returning a short serve with a net shot is great, and quick lift a deceptive direction changes are also great. All in all, this racket can do everything (for me) to a high level. Have it strung with BG80 so slices are easy and really accurate.
