Ok thanks. Do you know if the N80 S type have some head weight ? The bp is 290 mm officialy but li ning's informations are so strange that i don't know if it's true.
hi all, can you help me to choose the lining racket? my racket before is lining ss88, and if i want to upgrade it with same type (allround). can you suggest? (i heard that windstorm series is a good choice). thanks.
Need some help verifying the legitimacy of this N90 before purchase. Thanks in advance. @Charlie-SWUK or any other Woods N90 owner's help is very much appreciated!
Has anyone tried the lining ultra strong 900. How will it fair against voltric dg series say 7dg. I need a lining racket like voltric 7dg as I personally like lining. Any ideas please
I was told earlier in this thread that the rackets with long alpha numeric serial numbers were fakes. Feels bad, because I bought two of them. FML Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
You certain? First gen with code like that below t joint were the fake ones? http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/index.php?threads/n90-authentication-required.174218/ @Ch1k0 asked me to ask for shaft serial near t joint so I did. If this is true then I'm sorely disappointed.
Incorrect. Older models always had them. Someone posted a thread to a Chinese forum which implied, by translation, on new models, some would have them and others wouldn't depending on the country of purchase. Long serial numbers on shaft, or lack of, are no longer an accurate indicator of authenticity.
This is why it's about time racket companies should implement a better system of product authentication. Sent from my SM-J320F using Tapatalk
Agreed. I'm not a techie by any stretch, but these huge companies should have easy to use authentication apps for smart phones or something. You should be able to check it real time standing in the store. It has to be possible. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
Now that I had a re-look at your picts, I'm under the impression that the paint job looks kinda dodgy. The serial numbers look thicker and whiter than normal, the logo on the butt cap, is that red? If it is, it shouldn't be AFAIK, because usually it's like copper or silver on a patterned black color (which you have) for high end models like N90. I only have my N9II plus some googled info on high end li-nings including n90 as references for my theories though, so I could be wrong. If there's any other distinguishing features ( like bulges on certain o' clock positions as in the case of the Voltric rackets) it would've been easier to identify this.
You can actually. On my n9ii's handle, there was a sticker like this one: I scratched it and went to the Li-Ning website and entered the security code and it said that my racket was a genuine n9ii and if I remember well, that I was basically the first one to have entered that security code and thus, my racket was now registered or something.
This may be a good reference for an original LN90:http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25_26_141&products_id=813
I was just wondering if for example you give me your security code now and I try to re-verify it for myself on the site if it would give me a confirmation again or would it give me a message that this code has bee verified/used already? Would you mind if I try it? Weird as it may sound but I never performed this verification exercise on any of my genuine yonex or li-ning rackets as I wanted to preserve everything on my rackets
Or at least there should be a distributor policy that if the item was proven fake, it should replaced or the money refunded.
