    They've just started new mixed pair partnership and playing their first ever tournament in Dutch International 2017 and reach semifinal there.

    So sad ending story. My deep condolence to him and his family.

    Tragic news indeed. It definitely gave me the chills when I heard about this yesterday on our national news media. The Dutch badminton scene isn’t particularly large, so it is a tremendous loss and quite a shock to us all. We lost a great player here, a great ambassador for Dutch badminton, a very sympathetic guy and a soon to become father ;(
