If RI goes easy on CYF, means only RI and CYF will proceed?

We dont know, because CTC is still playing against KS now.

Assuming TTY win over SJH, TTY CYF and RI will all have 2 wins.

RI will have advantage of already having 4-0 sets aggregate and pass the group. Don't know how will it work out between TTY and CYF though

i think that is regulation 16..

16.2.2 If two players / pairs have won the same number of matches, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.
16.2.3 If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches, ranking will be established by the difference between total games won and total games lost, with greater difference ranked higher.
16.2.3.1 If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.
16.2.4 If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches and are equal in the difference between total games won and total games lost, ranking will be established by the difference between total points won and total points lost, with greater difference ranked higher.
16.2.4.1 If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.
16.2.4.2 If three or more players / pairs are still equal, then ranking will be established by drawing lots.

Srikanth seems to be not in full form after the injury break.

okay, so basically CYF has no chance to get through from the group stage as long as TTY wins over SJH

if both XXF and Zhang Jun are not there in Dubai, I think that fact by itself suggests something.

Chen Long's absence can be explained by the fact that he has quite a lot on his plate in the coming weeks: busy schedule in CBSL and getting married.

    Assuming:
    VA 2-0 CTC
    KS 2-0 CTC
    KS 2-1 SYQ

KS, VA and SYQ will all have won 2 matches and lost 1. Rankings will be determined by games Won-Lost:
    VA 5-2
    SYQ 5-3
    KS 4-3

So VA would advance as no. 1 and SYQ as no. 2. Even if CTC wins a game against VA, VA's score will still be 5-3 and thus better than KS (SYQ would then advance as no. 1 though since he beat VA).

in RI vs CYF tomorrow, if CYF wins RI in straight sets, then CYF will be ranked first in Group B.

RI will probably be ranked second in Group B. Even if TTY wins against SJH in straight sets, TTY will probably be ranked third. But it all depends on point difference between TTY and RI.

If TTY vs SJH finishes before RI vs CYF, then RI and CYF can "adjust" their play accordingly.

Np. The relevant regulations were listed above by pcll99. It can get a bit complex in groups of 4. Pen and paper can help a lot :).

KS hates to lift unless forced to, preferring to play fast drive instead apart from smashes and drop shots.
