Hello BCers, What are all the options available for men's badminton shoe size: 13.0US? I could only find Victor and LiNing shoes that go up to Size: 11.5. What about in other countries? Any luck with 13.0s? Thanks in advance!
yonex makes them up to at least size 13 US. if your local store doesn't carry them you'll have to special order it through them. and i only know this because a friend recently had to do this. luckily for that size they are often clearance priced at online retailers, take a look: http://www.badmintonalley.com/Badminton_Alley_Men_Badminton_Shoes_size_13_0_US_s/185.htm
Thanks, I should have mentioned I currently own three pairs of Yonex badminton shoes. Looking for something different.
ohh ok yeah well apparently wilson is the only other brand and maybe carlton haha good luck on your quest i have nothing else sadly
I noticed Victor has one model that goes to 13.0 but it's only available in Europe. There's also another model here in the U.S. but no one stocks 13.0, the largest size they stock is 12.0.
I see a Victor SH-A920, SH-P9200 and S81 listed with max size US13 (in the catalogue; the website says otherwise for P9200 and S81 though and webshops seem in line with the website with EUR 45.5 the max). And I think all or most of the Forza shoes come in US13 size ... Babolat Shadow Tour another one
Can't find most of those mentioned in the U.S. And the Victors are not in stock, at least the places I contacted.
Highly recommend the Victor SH 920. I own two pairs in 30,5 cm. SH 920, SH 920 ACE and a pair Yonex Aerus 2. The Victor are a bit wider, not much. Li Ning: forget it I think, if you like to wear something different than Yonex, than definitely try the Victor SH 920. Denmark is sponsored by Victor now. I hope they offer a few more options in the Future. Maybe order them here: https://www.racket-outlet.de/badminton/victor-sh-a920-blue.html
https://www.babolat.us/dealer/search?search=Los+angeles Don't know your location, but maybe some of them can help you to get the hands on one pair of Babolat without risks. Do you mind shopping overseas?

After receiving some favorable handball and squash reviews, I took a gamble, and purchased some Asics Tiger Gel Netburner Ballistic MTs. They look and feel great. Will play some badminton tonight and report my findings. Thanks for all the recommendations!
After 5+ hours of play yesterday, wow, I'm very pleased and pleasantly surprised with the Asics Tiger Gel Net Burner Ballistic MT (MT). They are significantly better than I expected. They are proper badminton shoes. I compared the MTs with my current benchmark shoe, the Yonex SHB-02LTDs (Purple/Gold aka Kento Momota's). My methodology for testing was wearing one shoe on the left and one shoe on the right. My Yonex shoes perform best with Powerstep Pinnacle blue full length insoles. I tried the MTs with and without the same Powerstep insole and they were actually better with the STOCK insole! The shoe is so rigid (in a good way) and cushioning so good it actually does not benefit from the Powerstep insole. With the Powerstep, the MTs felt a bit too cushiony for me (not bad thing if you have bad knees or want to minimize shock) and was a bit higher off the ground. It didn't hurt performance much but the feel was not as good as the stock insole where I felt very planted, on par and probably better than my Yonex set-up. Pros: +Minimal break-in time. I adjusted immediately. +Stiff, rigid frame, excellent for transitions, you get minimal flexing. +Excellent overall shoe grip. +Excellent lateral support. +The shoe design cups/cradles your foot to make it feel more stable. +Very comfortable, after 5+ hours of badminton, lots of running due to prolonged rallies, my feet still felt good. +An excellent walking shoe. +Relatively light for a size: 13.0 shoe. +Moderately priced overall, inexpensive for a shoe of this quality (if it holds up), normally $100.00 online, got it at a discount for $85.00 due to a Christmas sale. Cons: -None so far Additional Remarks: +The MT is a wider and overall larger when compared to traditional badminton shoes. The width is stated as "D" but it can accommodate 2EE. +Durability: of course I'm unsure about this as I've only worn the shoes once. It appears the shoe will hold up well but I will report back in a few months. Overall, very impressed. If the MTs hold up, I will order a few more pairs and they will be my go-to badminton shoes.
