It's an mx80, right? I'm bad at picking out colours, but it looks right. Plus it's what he used for years.

Lol. Momota uses 2u g5. Iirc his handle is shaved so it should be a G6. Could be seen on pics from the Dutch open stringer.
If he plays vs the big guys again he wilk probably use 3u though.

It seem strange for a double players to use Z strike for game.

I quite like my DUO10 for doubles. It's fast enough for quick drives and net play but also gives good power on smashes. Considering the Z Strike is a little head heavier than the DUO, I can see why pro doubles players would like it.

I'd actually disagree a bit. The stiffness is crazy good for doubles for me and I haven't found anything as stiff as Z Strike yet.

Too bad you haven't try MX80 yet, I'd say that stick is stiffer than DZS.

Interesting. She started with AX77 but switched back to the Z-Strike after game 1:

they are way too different rackets, i have handled them both on near similar setups. they are way too different. And all parameters of game are affected- be it swing timing, feel of hitting and handling.
    Perplexes me.
