First I would like to say that I am primarily a doubles player that is looking for a head heavy racquet. I have done some research and have decided to purchase the Voltric Z Force 2. Although, I am having trouble deciding on whether I should use the 3U or the 4U version for doubles. Thoughts?

4u us perfect. Razor sharp accuracy and handling. And smashes? Oh boy!!!!!!
Used it till November. It was the doubles racket meant for smashing. Played only once with a 3u and it felt like a jack hammer. Would need more time with a 3u zf2. But 4u was just perfect. No problem in defence. It became my forte.

I have tried using the 3U version and enjoyed using it without any problems, but im wondering if the 4U is worth the extra speed and control over power.

If I were to use the 3U version, would I be losing out on anything significant?

Can anyone pls tell me the difference between voltric 7 and voltric z force 2?
I have voltric 7 and it has pretty great smashes, but lacks greatly in the defense department.
Is z force 2 having better smash and defense?
    Is it worth the upgrade?
Any other racket which is slightly lighter but has great smashes?

Nope. It isn't. You aren't accounting for stiffness and your need to upgrade to a better technique. We can't answer better smash and defence. But it's worth the upgrade in technique. Zf2 is harsh on your shoulders.

Well, yeah I Know about that but still, is zf2 light Enough compared to vt7? Vt7 was very heavy and kinda slowed my game drastically.Have u used vt7?

Which Voltric 7? DG or the normal/neo? There is a huge difference.

Sorry to say, but if you can't defend satisfying with the VT7 and feel it is slow, forget the ZFII. IMO the VT7 is a really quick racket and not really head heavy. To me it don't feel sluggish, maybe you got a lemon? Anything lighter will result to be difficult and will become less effective for overhead shots. I recommend drills to practice defending with the Voltric 7 instead of buying anything lighter.
