It was treat to watch LD play the way he did. But somewhere I felt like he wasn’t challenged much in speed of movements by LCW. Viktor is been doing a good job of that in their last meetings

LCW's long forehand corner just isn't capable of producing good enough shots to pressure LD consistently. Axelsen on the other hand, has a lethal forehand corner that can take the shuttle extremely high and early. VA is possibly the only player who can match LD going forehand to forehand.

Meanwhile Huang Yuxiang is having a game point against Prannoy in the second set.

I'm rooting for Prannoy. He's gonna be fun to watch against Lin Dan

He's 15-9 up now. We should see him against LD tomorrow.

Exactly what I felt. Viktor sends down thunderous smashes from his long forehand corner

Typical HSP pattern again. Takes down seeded players in the early rounds and loses to a player ranked behind him

LD will take the title, unless an inspired performance from SYQ

Yeah, I‘ve given up on him. :(

I thought the matches in China or the Olympic Semifinal changed something, but no.

Weird that he always plays bad quality shots when it‘s crunch time...
