Anyone have an opinion on whether to go with the 3u or 4u version? I'm looking for something to give a bit more punch than my JS12 but not a racket that will make my arm go into retirement.
Oh no no. I have a 3U piece. But it's on the lighter end. That is a joy to use. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
Lol, I see. Like I mentioned to you last time about getting a 4u falcon instead of the 3u, I placed my order for that 4u last week. It should be here this coming week. I hope I don't have to buy a 3u falcon after testing it .
Well in all fairness. My piece is first run 3U. So the variation hasn't begun much yet. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
thanks, for some reason the page is massively different to http://www.victorsport.com/product/49198/tk-f-f
Yeah. I just did a simple Google search and found it. Had all the right info and was easy to digest. So I shared it hehe Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
Hey Guys, Need some advice here. Keep going back to my trusty TK6000 4u as haven't had much luck with a replacement. TK6000 is great but tends to be inaccurate when you go full welly. TK9900-3 3u is just too heavy or stiff for me, plays well but can't hit anywhere like the TK6000. S12F for flowery is just way too light and fast. It's a monster for forecourt and crazy angled check smashes but rear court it's like a pea shooter. So will the falcon be my saviour? And what's the difference between 3u/4u, is it head weight or overall weight. Having a light 3u or heavy 4u should be similar?
This is my main concern as well. If I go with the 4u is the whole racket lighter or am I sacrificing the head weight?
That’s my experience with most 4U rackets. The racket weight gets “overpowered” by the shuttle when going full whack.
My mailman dropped off a package at my door this morning, and it was my new 4u falcon in the box . After putting on an overgrip, I took a quick swinging seesion in living room. The falcon felt really quick. I also felt the head weight on the head, and the head definitely felt heavier than my beloved n9ii. I will be at the badminton gym tomorrow for my regular 4 hours session, so I can better compare it to my n9ii. 4u falcon strung with li ning no.5 @ 26 lbs
NICE! Have fun man! Let us know the feed back. I just ordered my TKF 4U last night. I should be getting it in the mail by next Thursday hopefully! I am stocked. Mine will be strung with Zymax 66 Power @ 27lbs
Nice ! Zymax 66 fire power is a very nice string. I'll post my feedback after I have a couple of sessions on it.
I think the only major difference is the head weight. Who knows if manufacturing tolerances allow for a 3u 4u variation but I'm hopeful in this day and age that they get a high yield for what they aim for. Well I managed to grab a 4u finally so will hopefully give you a solid recommendation in a few days. 3rd one's a charm as they say or it will join the 9900 and js12f in the victor graveyard.
Hi AdamMorin, I am also from canada, Do you mind telling me from where you are ordering it. Just want to find out the best source to buy this racquet
