Reading another thread that discussing 88s, see lots players feel 88s is more forgiving and more all-arounded than N9ii. I need to compare in shop before decide.
I definitely would but that’s not till late April which is like forever in my racket ownership time .. That is what I was thinking about as well but I’m not sure. It’s another one of those “performance” rackets and I’m not sure I wanna go that route yet. Perhaps something older with a lot better feeling. Nothing to worry tho I’m sure I’d have gotten bored of that setup as well and be ready to buy something else from Japan lol.
Just got my N9II in black/pink. Damn... It looks beautiful! I experienced difficulties to generate power. I am a Voltric Z-Force II in 4U user. The N9II felt less stiffer, more even balanced and not as HH as my ZFII. Maybe the pre string and tension weren't my type. I think it was NS95, 9.5kg. Now I'll string it with Li Ning No.1 with 11kg. Hope I'll find the right feeling for this beauty soon ))
Hi guys, Need some suggestion on N90 iv vs N9ii. I’m a Voltric Z Force II user. I use 4U version. I love the racquet but it slightly affects manoeuvreability. I also have apacs feather weight 65 which is an F racquet. Though, it’s F , it’s head heaviness gives just enough power for clears. But lethal in front and mid court smashes. Just love the feeling. I have tried other racquets like Astrox 77, 88D,88S, 66, Duora Z strike , Duora 10 and Duora 8xp. ( Yes, I get to try the pre launch versions due to the awesome Yonex dealer here in Sydney) Duora 8xp is the one I liked due to its medium stiffness and head heaviness. Last week I have tried Li-Ning N90 iv for the first time and felt it was the best among all the racquets I have used. I was checking for N90 iv in Aliexpress and came across this amazing deal for ‘N9 ii’. Something too good to be true. Hope it’s not fake! Would like to know if it’s worth buying as a blind choice? Has N9 ii bad N90 iv has similar characteristics? Thanks for your kind recommendation.
Well if you like the medium stiffness and head heaviness of the duora 8xp as you stated I'm sure you will enjoy the n9ii.. I came from the ZF2 3u to my n9ii, great choice for me but is considerably more flexible.. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Never buy from Ali. When u see a price that is too low, u know what u will be getting. And a lot of current ecommerce sites don't even catch counterfeits or even notice. Only buy from renowned stores or recommended by friends. I can tell u some of the prices though. Say in Malaysia, if u buy n9ii from li ning store, they are selling at around myr1000+ (usd 250). But if u buy from some small outlets that buy directly from distributors in bulk, u can get at around myr 550- 640 (usd 150- 160). Can verify their authenticity from li ning site. So is best is to do ur due diligence. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
No sorry, n9ii has been my only experience with li-ning,, effortless power and well able in the forecourt.. if you like a bit of flex this could be the perfect racket but if you like the pin point accuracy or zf2 or z-strike might not be for you.. hope this helps. Indeed caution. For less than 100usd, you were probably looking at the TD or TF version. The N version is above 150 on Ali.
Actually I've never seen any fake Li-ning on aliexpress. I always assumed this was because there's actually a Li-ning official seller there. I've seen plenty of Victor and Yonex. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
Looks like I overlooked the 'N'/ Here is the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Li-...5.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.263.ekPMq7
It says 9II TF on the shaft which makes it a cheaper version of the original N9II. But going by the colors only it looks very much alike.
Just to share, there's currently a sale on Aliexpress. I've brought all my reels of LN1 from there and recently picked up a pair of N7II. Some retailers offer a percentage of discounts on bulk buys, so you can get some rackets for cheap. At least it's considerably cheaper than what I can import/buy locally.
Thanks for sharing - there are quite a lot of interesting offers in there. Especially some really nice clothes that you'll never find in regular european shops. EDIT: Although prices for the N-Series rackets are even more expensive then over here... N9II for 187,- EUR...
Normally, they use lower quality carbon and are more flexible than the N-racket - although there are very little hands-on reviews available for TD/TF rackets. They should be the less pricey entry models to the "real" N-series rackets.
