Well the Malaysian was doing this shooing thing with his finger, shake his head then did that neck cutting gesture with his hand while looking straight at the opponent's eyes.

Yeah, well that's what I mean. From my perspective I think they're a bit arrogant sometimes (Boe and Mogensen, not the others) and sometimes go over the top. But I also think the response from the fans is often completely disproportionate (death threats are never okay). But I know I'm viewing their actions from a completely different perspective. I just wish that we could all be a bit more tolerant of each other.

Thanks for the update Hassefar60. You are one of our few Denmark posters with news on the Denmark national team. Please keep the forum updated on new about the Denmark national team.

If my understanding is correct, Denmark will still go through to the playoff round if they lose today. IMO, other than China, Denmark has the best singles line up (must be nice to have Anders Antonsen sitting on the bench today, that is a deep singles lineup). And the doubles teams for Denmark are also strong. This year is another good chance for Denmark to win the Thomas Cup if their players can play up to their capability.

Antonsen is better than JOJ and HKV imo, so they should play him as MS 2 and use HKV as MS3

It was for the audience. But still rude like Boe and (older) Kevin.
Still teenager, he should have act professionally.

If you are talking about LZJ, this actually the second time I saw him doing it. Maybe he thinks he is the new LCW.

He is not getting on my good book for sure. Still prefer the real humble LCW.

Aaron Chia reminds me of the late Jung Jae Sung....Small frame but packed with a big smash

Yeah I know right. I personally don't think their or anyone's antics are something to be fussed about (most of the time). But you will never know when you actually cross the line unintentionally. That's the scariest part with politics or fanatics.

But apparently BWF loves these kind of sensational stuff so clashes be it. ;)

Dont worry we wont see much of LZJ on TV courts, so it's not really likely to be repeated :D

LZJ made a shushing and then a throat cutting gesture at the Danish camp/Danish fans after the match. Bit arrogant for someone who won such an unconvincing match if you ask me :D Also quite unnecessary from what I've seen, I could only hear the Danes encouraging their own players, not booing or any such things. But it appears behaving well is not something many of the younger player deem important, when you watch the TC matches so far

I wouldn't have minded much if they had done it during the match. But after the match.. that's a completely different story.

The world ranking seems to support that opinion, but maybe JOJ is in good shape now, and the Danes prefer players who have experienced the TC before to play...? Vittinghus and Jorgensen were pretty clutch 2 years ago, and I guess they prefer to have veterans play and have a really strong MS3 than let Antonsen play his first TC. Personally, I would start JOJ if he's in good shape as he's gonna be MS3 no matter what, but I'm kind of undecided on the Vittinghus/Antonsen matter. Unless there's injury at play, I'd probably let Antonsen play as he seems to have a higher peak, and is a similar fighter as Vittinghus....but I'm not a Danish coach, so I'm sure they had their reasons to do it like this :D
