After the boring finals at least one thrilling. But a third set would have been deserved for KM for his comeback in set 2. Maybe he should have risked at little more at game points

To Momota's credit, he played an extraordinary stroke game of the highest quality. Well, Momota has time on his side, can't say the same for the aged LCW.

Nah I think straight sets would make more impact to the victory. The perfect final match to end the tournament.

If LCW can continue to play such a high quality controlled game, not his usual style, he is still a force to be reckoned with despite his age, and perhaps even extends his career a few more years.

Of course he was smiling. It was probably the best and the most thrilling match he had ever played after his come back.

Finally someone got composure and beat Momota who just does not have any style, but just get over the net, hit the line. And even got beaten with his own medicine - controlled and calmed play, 2 sets and 1 hour 11 mins! But eveyrone who plays against Momota has to get his composure and get going till the end. LCW shots variety was so much better and with equal quality this time.

Golden CWG shirt LCW strikes again!
What a final, especially in G2. LCW proves that staying calm and collected can beat Kento Momota.
Plenty of variety within his shot, for record breaking 12th MAS Open title! Truly a legend.
