Carbon handle?! I'm all ears now... My first and last racket that had this was my beloved Carlton Powerflo CR back in the 90s.
Carbon handle is not new at all But who knows it may result a better performance JPX CX = LTD + carbon handle
Does a carbon handle have any special advantage over the current materials (graphite?) being used in many of the latest rackets? Sent from my SM-J320F using Tapatalk
Handles are still most of the times in wood. Only a few brands use carbon handles. I know that Wilson is doing it. (Graphite is just an alternative name for carbon) And to answer your question properly I would say that carbon is stronger and lighter than wood. But on the other hand I think that wood absorbs vibrations better
Oh yea, my bad. Thanks for clarifying that. We're talking about handles and my mind was on the "shaft"
Gosen Ryoga series had this too. I wonder why this isn't more of a mainstream thing, I can only think of costs being the main factor, rather than vibration, because I would've thought there be ways to minimise it if this was the real factor.
And to reply all, yes, carbon handle, no longer wood. Time for some specs 4U Med Flex Slight HH 32lbs max tension Aerohex frame 3D power matrix 46Tonne carbon Combiframe Carbon handle Xtra Slim shaft
i have to check. The cx editions are running alongside the LTD and 8.5. For the LTD and 8.5, we have extra stiff editions coming out also.

Hope there will be Extra stiff + 6.8 shaft + Compact frame + 3u Cabon Handle Version of JPX LTD I'm not a fan of 6.4 shaft (Even DZS sacrificed some power for the 6.4 shaft)
