Anyone had a chance to hit with the 99 yet, would be curious to hear people's thoughts

    599 RM = £114.84, as of today.
And there's no way the UK is going to have this for less than £175.

    No. Way.

FYI, tennisnuts has this on preorder for £175.49. Credit to someone else who mentioned it was on preorder.

Thanks to Sunrise, sole distributor of Yonex in South East Asia, South Asia, HK and Macau, an area populated by over 2Bil people where badminton is a main sport event. Volume speaks.

Can't say there's a huge volume in Australia. Our sellers just don't sell at RRP, so it's almost as cheap as sunrise.

Neither do all the sellers in Sunrise region. You are right if you compare Aussie retailer discounted price with sunriseclick.com price, but what is being transacted in the local shops are 20-30% lower than Sunriseclick. Astrox 88D/S is transacted at AUD 160 or below including grip and string + stringing/gripping service, I do not think any shops in Australia can even come close to that.

I’d be more than happy to assist with buying and sending the racquets for you with some service fees. Haha

I had the 88D, didn't fit my style. So pre ordered the 99. To be honest, I feel like I made a dumb move by wasting money cause I couldn't be happier with my Z Strike. But kind of a "reputation" thing I suppose. What if the 99 fits me more then the DZS? Doubt it but will definitely give it a try.

It cost me Canadian 270 dollars without tax so I would say 210 US? I dont know. My dealer said I will be getting it before September starts meaning late August.

The Z force II has sound filter and other features.. So all those additional features are included in ASTROX series or not needed anymore? since Astrox is going to replace the Voltrox series.

I have to agree with your own assessment here. The 99 is going to be very close to the feeling of 88D, and if you didn't like 88D there's no reason to have bought 99. Should've just gotten another DZS!

Look bro. It's not about the racket. Go work on your skill. Racket improves maybe .001% of your game. It's not a magic wand.
