    Unfortunately no, he almost did it when he had hefty leading at deciding game in recent world meet quarterfinal before Shi Yuqi made miraculous comeback.

    What an awful Men's Singles final. I can't believe that was the level of badminton for an Asian Games MS finals. CTC was hitting awful drop shots, sometimes 4 feet above the net. And Jonathan Christie couldn't take advantage of shut a poor drop shot from CTC and he hit it right back into the net. Steen was right in that the MS finals match looked like Viktor Axelsen vs Tian Houwei in the SS finals in Dubai.

    Srikanth KD, Momota, and Chen Long must be kicking themselves right now for not making it to the finals. And LCW must really feel bad after seeing that level of play in the finals. Congratulations to Jonathan Christie for winning his biggest title yet, but he will have to play better if he wants to win the WC or OG. Jonathan Christie won't have too many finals where his opponent is dropping the shuttle 4 feet above the net, he needs to play more solid than that to win the WC or OG.
