hi guys, recently i broke my victor js10 4u..i really like to play double but sometimes i play single just for fun. I really like the js10 4u, however sometimes i feel that i lack some power..thus i bought the yonex vt zf ii 3u..then, i feel that the racket is not suitable to me as i can't generate enough power to maximize the potential of the racket. Do u guys have any recommendation regarding mizuno racket that have similiar feels with js10 (optionally, give slightly more power)? thanks guys!

 

I recommend you Technix 1.2

 

i see, previously i noticed that they also launched the Jpx8.1 ..will it give different feeling?

 

JPX 8.1 has been around for years. The new one is 8.1 pro and i havent test it.

Why I recommend you Technix 1.2? Because it performs better than JS10 4U and easy to play with

I used to have 2 pieces each, Technix 1.2 and Prototype X1
After few months playing with JPX LTD and those racquets, I just feel comfortable playing with JPX LTD. Why?

1. JPX LTD shaft is stiff and I like it while Technix 1.2 and Prototype X1 are medium stiff
2. JPX LTD is 3U but actually lighter than any Yonex/Victor/Lining 3U, ~approx. 86-87gr
3. Doing smash, drive and clear shot with JPX LTD is really a joy
4. I never have an injury playing with JPX LTD

What I dont like about Technix 1.2? Well, if only Technix 1.2 shaft is stiff, I would love it more.
What I dont like about Prototype X1? I can tell the repulsion is really good, the power also super good but I have problem in controlling the game, for example, often my shots is out when I do clear shot.

 

I had a swing on a. Dry copy of the "cyst" 2.0 at my regular shop. I'm quite impressed. It feels like it will be capable of putting out some pretty solid power and accuracy combined. Nice aerodynamic frame with a really solid stiff shaft.

Is it just me or suggesting X racket is gonna suit one person better than Y racket is kinda impossible without knowing the person skill level or type of play?

 

I had hands on and swing abit around in the shop as well. I kinda feel like this racket could be the tone down version of MX80 just without the hexagon frame, 80 holes and just alittle bit lighter (imo).

 

Yes, it always has been that case. A player may misjudge their own playing level at times. Personally for me, i use whichever racket i'm using as a reference. By using that reference racket for sometime, I will eventually know what i'm looking for in the next upgrade (or downgrade). Comparing with the specs of other racket is one way, best is to have the chance to try hands on and swing around abit or if someone you know happens to have the racket you looking for, don't hesitate and ask for a tryout.

 

Still deciding between getting a yonex 88s or try out the new mizunos.. decisions decisions...

 

I tried the JPX 8.5 since a friend of mine had it. I am interested in trying to find one.

Also, does anyone know where I can get the stencil as well?

 

Check if you have badminton frienda that has the yonex 88s and Mizuno rackets then, you decide. Just my 2 cents

 

Hi everyone, does anyone have a stringing pattern diagram for Mizuno Carbosonic 79? I am a bit confused as the way my stringer strung it is different than the product photo Mizuno released.
