Badminton courts in Hyderabad

District Badminton Tournament conducted by Badminton Association is going to start from 9th Aug and will continue until 12th and will continue until 12th Aug. I am playing at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium which is Ranga Reddy District. Registration will be done on the same day at 8 AM onwards at the venue.

 

what is the fees is suchitra academy. Does they allow outside players memberhsip

 

Any good badminton court near kompally. Looking for doubles play

Telangana State Badminton Tournament being conducted by Badminton Association of Telangana is going to start from 28th Oct 2018 at DPS, Nacharam, Hyderabad. This is for Children below 13 years, Men & Women 35 above only. Interested players can check with Pani Rao on 9440065604. Those who are neither winners nor runners at District Tournament will have qualifying rounds on 27th Oct.

 

Ravi,so this would mean the 35+/40+/45+/50+ Qualifiying rounds are on the 27th of October?The prospectus as usual does not give out any clarity on this.I am assuming the Masters would begin directly from the Main Draw as it usually does not see enough entries to have a qualifyin round.If you have any info on the dates,it would greatly help.Thanks in adv

 

Ranjit, Please call up Pani Rao for details. I am playing only 50+ Doubles here. I will play 55+ singles at Khammam from 1-4th Nov. We are runners-up at District level in Category 50+ men's Doubles. So, we don't have to pay but just register for the draw. Last year we were runners-up at State Meet at Medchal. See you in the tourney....best of luck..

 

Thank you Ravi.Calling him up for details is the most difficult part Congrats for the last years' meet.I guess they divided the Masters meet venues into Nizampet and Medchal last year,so I ended up at Nizampet. This year too,they have been messing around with the calendar quite a bit I guess.As per the earlier published calendar(i have attached it alongwith this post) Nov1-4 was at DPS for 35+ to 50+ and Nov 9-12 was Khammam for 55+ & 60+ alongwith the State U-15.Shall meet you at DPS.All the best for the Doubles as well as Singles!

 

Thanks for the info Ranjit. The Badminton Association guys are not organised at all. Gopi is busy with the BWF Tournaments which is one per month and sometimes two per month. Last year I made hue & cry as they charged us for the participation though we represent the district team! Finally they reimbursed but we had to make our own arrangements for travelling daily to Medchal.

 

Another Badminton Tournament in December in Hyderabad for the interested.
